Then you have to start with congressional term limits. The corporate lobbyists love career politicians who swim in the Swamp for decades.

Nailed it. They’ll never be able to admit they were wrong after 4 years of absolute hate.
Leo Terrell managed to make the shift.

That dude was angrily Anti-Trump and stricken with a violent case of TDS, but managed to see the light and is clearly a much happier person now. Never used to smile, ever. Just looked like a constipated, sky screaming a-hole... but now he's still loud and outspoken but actually smiles and is fun and funny.

If a guy like Leo Terrell can transform into Leo 2.0, I think there's hope for more people like him. People like Maher though, no way. They will die as miserable, angry liberals.

Adam Schiff lives in Washington. He doesn't give a flying shite about Cali or his constituents and they are brain washed so it's not like he has to worry about getting ousted.

So he maintains a residence in Ca in the District he represents?

That's not true.....Maher is a douche but he has his moments of clarity

He did comment on obesity in this episode and how it’s an untouchable subject but he also said the constitution needs a page 1 rewrite. I wish he’d expand on that because I’m legitimately curious what he’d want it to look like. He quoted RGB saying Canada and South Africa had better constitutions than us.

Don’t be fooled Trump followers. Maher still holds a very low opinion of you.

Sure he does, but he understands that we need civility and learn to live together. I don’t think he thinks anyone who would vote for Trump is inherently evil or stupid though, which separates him from much of the Left. Maher is a smug prick to everyone, but he’s an equal opportunity smug prick who looks at people like AOC and Rick Perry with equal disdain and superiority.

I was visiting with some Moderates & Blue Dog Dems last night. A few of which native La folks that lived in SF for ten years. My mother is a Liberal, and lifelong friends. They are all old.

Their problem, like many of my old southern Democrat clients, is that they either assume that the DNC is in full control. Or are totally oblivious to where AOC, Bernbots, and Mills/Zoomers stand on Socialism & full Nanny State. They can't see the truth.

I know for a fact they watch too much boob tube CNN, are wanting a comfortable last decade of life without strife, and don't have their ears to the ground, of the storms ahead..both domestic and abroad.

God bless them, they are like old coaches that the game has passed by. Like Tom Hanks in Green Mile with the old folks home watching 1930s Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers dance flicks. They exist in a current, but their minds are in a different past..they just don't fully see and understand it.

Like friends or girlfriends of mine's brothers and sisters of the 1970s, rocking mullets and perms in 1980, when I saw The Clash, Prince, and Brit New Wave take off with MTV's birth, and knew their Skynyrd Zep era was passe.

Like early 1990s kids knew when Nirvana splashed down..your 1980s Hair Metal and Spandex was done. Relegated to a fossil rock small casino hall tour near you.

The DNC is marching out old Uncle Joe, and selling old Moderate to the sheep..but if win..Kamala and full-bore Progressive Socialism in store.

They just can't see it.

I am republican. Voted for Trump in 2016. Am voting for him in 2020 like my job depends on it. And I don’t like Trump’s personality. His policy is so much better than the alternative YOU HAVE TO VOTE TRUMP.

Schiff says at the end of the interview that he doesn’t think there’s anything incompatible with pro business and progressive ideology. That is completely wrong. Modern progressive ideology is completely anti-capitalism at its core
this is what kills me. maher explains clearly and succinctly what the problem is and then schiff gives a completely tone deaf response. he just told you what the incompatibility is, turd. businesses are voting with the feet. good grief. even freaking BILL MAHER is getting red pilled about it

ok, so you don't see an incompatibility. then why are businesses leaving genius?

yeah those dems have one foot in the grave. that part of the party won't exist in another few years

that's lobbying and it's a separate issue from the op

and the rest of our country
why? if a company's leadership is maga, i have absolutely no problem with them having influence. some companies actually treat their employees and the consumers right.

Imagine someone comes to your house jumps up on your coffee table takes a shite then starts complaining about the smell.

That is essentially Bill Maher.

He helped create the monster.

Bill clearly sees what the Left represents, but he lets TDS control his and his country’s trajectory. It’s baffling to me when he so clearly sees the writing on the wall from the Left.

Bill is honest about his TDS, he freely admits he can't stand Trump and that it paints his politics even to the point of hoping the country fails solely because Trump is in charge.

I would rather someone at least be honest about it rather than trying to hide it behind some faux concern (especially like that jack-wagon Schiff).

The problem with centrist Democrats is having to admit they’re wrong about Trump.

They are not wrong about Trump. He is a venal, arrogant, egocentric nut. I’m supporting him because the left is so bad, but if there was someone on the right who had dignity and would still battle the chicoms, the New Global Order and antifa I’d dump Trump in a New York minute.

Yeah, but the difference is Bill will admit to the shite, and then when he complains about the smell, the Dems that gave him the stool to get on the tabletop will say “What are you talking about. There is no shite in this room.”

Doesn't do any good if he keeps shitting on your coffee table.....

Maher is Lucy and keeps yanking the football away from Conservatives who want desperately to like him.
