He’s making it too easy.

The Hill
quote:

The Interior Department took swift action to deliver on President Biden’s campaign pledge to block oil and gas drilling on public lands, freezing such leases for the next 60 days.

An order signed by acting Secretary Scott de la Vega on Wednesday bars the department from pushing ahead with any new leasing or drilling permits. It also blocks any new major mining actions.

Biden’s climate plan calls for “banning new oil and gas permitting on public lands and waters,” a pledge made by each Democratic candidate in the primary after the idea was first proposed by Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.).

Remember that time Biden said during a presidential debate that he was going to get rid of oil and gas and the media called us every name in the books for calling him out on it and said that’s not what he really meant?

Yeah about that

What a frickin disaster the next four years will be

Glad so many Dominion voters had their say.
Problem is that someone else is doing his thinking and it'll get worse.

"We want unity!" they cry while trying to destroy what remains of blue collar industry in the States.

This issue will ultimately be the proverbial straw.

I’m starting to think you enjoy being a contrarian, “just because.”

YGM

It's also true. It really is good news for West Texas.

Terrible for New Mexico.

Great, a SFP wannabe.

Or maybe lawyers just like arguing with everyone.

Nobody could be SFP but SFP. I am wantonly arrogant, and even I know that.

Try looking at it another way.

Debate sharpens everyone's views, like iron sharpens iron.

If no one challenged you, you really would not be very firm in your beliefs.

Wait until the real Secretary of the Interior is confirmed. She'll hold a pow wow to curse all those who dare drill anywhere in the US!

I couldn’t agree more.
And I appreciate the opportunity to read the well articulated and rational thoughts of those who hold ideas different to mine.

Remember how Senile Joe went back & forth on fracking? He was just telling whoever was doing the question the answer they wanted to hear, while conservatives knew all along what he was going to do. Dumb people who voted Biden are going to watch him plunge the job market to hell in this country...

I just don't understand Democrats, they can't apply simple logic to anything!

Biden suspends federal oil and gas leasing for 60 days - Houston Chronicle
quote:

While Wednesday's order is only temporary, presumably giving the senate time to confirm Biden's nominee for interior secretary, Rep. Rep. Deb Haaland, D-N.M., there is little indication that Biden will not seek to make it permanent. Were he to succeed, oil and gas companies in Houston and across Texas, many of which drill heavily in the Gulf of Mexico and on federal lands in the western United States, will be forced to look elsewhere.

"We're really concerned about what this means. The federal government has contractual obligations under exiting leases," said Anne Bradbury, president of the trade group American Exploration and Production Council. "We're exploring all our options."

Biden loves the oil and gas companies...

Based in Russia, China, Saudi, Venezuela

Oil is going to jump and the only people who will make money are the international oil and gas companies. US Onshore companies and the US citizens will lose

I won’t link the CNN article, but Cruz’s comments are on point.

Good. Bring on $5 a gallon for gas. Love it. Reap what you sow America. Time for pain to bring us back from the brink.
