Oil is a world commodity. Market price is the same everywhere.

The article just says the admin is talking to Venezuela. The asmin already spoke to OPEC about sending oil to Europe. No telling what type of deal they are discussing with them. Or who would benefit.

However, if we couldn't drill our way out of needing to buy Russian oil, what makes anyone think we can drill our way out of buying Venezuelan oil?

Here's a clue: we need heavy crude for our refineries on the West Coast and Hawaii. We don't have a lot of that available in the US right now.

So, we chose to do business with:

Russia
China
Venezuela

Do you see the same negative pattern I do?

You can't fix stupid and the left is full of it.

Let’s see how full of shite the right is. Tell me exactly how Biden can decree an increase in US production to the level consumed in this country.

No, at least right now. Venezuelan oil is super heavy oil. Takes longer to process.

Sometimes I'm tempted to say decouple from the world wide market.

It’s not just U.S. officials meeting in Venezuela right now — it’s also key executives from MAJOR U.S. oil companies, including Chevron.

This is real, folks.

If agreements are reached, we will replace Putin’s oil with massive reserves from Orinoco region of Venezuela.

Biden administration team in Venezuela as U.S. seeks to break country from Russian influence

US officials think all other countries are stupid.

When US does not need you, US will topple your elected government and replace with a self-claimed president.
If you do not replace your president, US is going to sanction you to death.

When I need you, you should be grateful to provide oil to US so we can replace the oil from Russian, the country that helps Venezuela in tough time.

I agree he should open the pipeline though its value is vastly overstated.

THIS. We’re creating real problems to solve a fake one.

Also, the FedGov shouldn’t own land in states - Noem should be able to go over their heads.

I'd much rather see us just physically take over Venezuela than send anything to Ukraine.
