Biden To Announce $3 Trillion Tax Hike Tomorrow

President Joe Biden is set to announce up to $3trillion in tax increases targeting the rich and middle class when he unveils his infrastructure package in Pittsburgh tomorrow. The hikes could hit Americans earning more than $400,000 a year, businesses, married couples and estates. It is part of his bid to fund the revenue needed for his bold proposal to pay for new roads, bridges, green technology and 'human infrastructure' - which includes subsidies for Americans to pay for health insurance and measures to cut child poverty. The increases could total $3 trillion, the Washington Post reported, with the cost of the infrastructure package running as high as $4 trillion. The rest of the money needed could be made up by borrowing.

So the United States, which already has the most progressive tax in the world is going to get more progressive.
Because biden needs to pay off his base.

We are fricked with this senile little puke in office.

Many small business owners make far less than $400,000 a year, but will be punished by drunken Democrat tax hikes on "business".
I guess Biden didn't mean what he said. Not that the son of a bitch knows what he's saying these days.

Let’s not be surprised. Increased taxes on the upper class and middle class were a given with a progressive administration. We knew this was coming. Sucks but it’s been known for a long time

Unbelievable! Where are all of the liberals on this board? Please explain to me how this is a good thing? How long can we sustain these $3 trillion dollar hits? With the first one, 92% of it went out of the country.
If he really wants to help these people, how about you create jobs and pay these people to work? Then, they put their money back into the economy. They will feel a sense of pride and self confidence that they are doing this on their own. If we are not taxed to death, then we can put more money into the economy. It will grow.
This is monopoly money. We're about to enter GTA fiscal territory- $1,000 for a t shirt.

Trump dropped the ball by not doing infrastructure in his first 2 years. Yes, I know Paul Ryan obstructed but this shouldn't even be happening now.

Can't say he didn't tell you.

Correct me if I am wrong, but assuming that Manchin stays true to his word regarding the filibuster (obviously tough for a dimocrat), wouldn't the senate need 60 to pass this nonsense?
Not to mention, this will be wildly unpopular for vulnerable Senate dimocrats with an election 18 or so months away. The job losses will be unprecedented.

WTF does it mean "could hit...married couples."
We certainly wouldn't want to encourage marriage, much more equal if all children are bastards.

I think it is kind of fricked up that a president can raise taxes on business with a flick of a pen. IMHO this is something that should be voted on.

TRUMP warned us this would happen.

Schumer was quoted as saying he believes the senate can use Reconciliation up to 3 time per congressional term.... so he feels they can keep passing with 50/50 + VP

Just print the imaginary money like we have been doing? What's the point of taxing if we have a money machine that hasn't stopped

OK so finally after 40 some years I've got it through my stupid head. When libs say "help the middle class", they really mean "tax the middle class".
Do people really still think that libs are for the common working man?
