I think this is BS. Trying act like the Dems are full force behind Biden and they know at anytime leading up to convention that this can all go out the window.
Lets say you get to convention but Biden has stepped aside. So what if you have bound state delegates on the 1st vote. If he isn't a candidate it doesn't matter.
This talk in this article is a smokescreen to show the Dems are behind Biden so that when he is forced aside they can pretend to be just flabbergasted like everyone else in that they didn't see this coming.
He can quit anytime before convention, those state delegate for Biden don't mean sh!t. Then the super delegates step in and select the nominee. THen at that point the DNC has destroyed democracy and the democrat voters had no say in their nominee. It was decided by the DNC and super delegates.

While none of what's said is incorrect, I hope you don't believe that's what will happen. Biden will be removed,"drop out", due to some medical emergency or health issues.
There is no way Dems, Democratic billion dollar donors, and those progressives who pull the strings will allow that bumbling idiot to be the Democratic candidate.
However the plan unfolds, it's already drawn up and decided.

DNC will do whatever needs to be done to get rid of him. They are masters at changing the rules when necessary to suit their needs/goals which is win at any cost.

Wouldn't a lot of the ballots already be printed with Biden / Harris if they wait until August or September to make the change?
Seems like that would confuse enough voters in swing states to make it prohibitive to wait that long.

This could seriously backfire much worse than trying to drag Biden across the line for another victory. I’m not so sure this is going to happen like the consensus of the board.

Pretty much what I am thinking…
After years of Hillary shoved in over Bernie, Biden shoved in over Bernie and Buttplug because the Dems “accidentally” screwed up the Iowa caucus, etc, I don’t see how they keep selecting candidates no one wants and have people keep voting for them.
At a point, the size of the bribes to the electorate and/or the costs of trying to fake the ballots is going to be beyond their scope.

Yep. They laid the framework and passed the necessary legislature in 2019 and 2020, already knowing that they were going to steal the election for Biden and likely end up having to replace him due to incompetence.
They just kind of did it subtly and made it look as if it was directed towards a possible second Trump term, but we had quite a few threads about it right here on tPT discussing the long game and Biden. It was apparent that the intent was to remove Biden just after halfway through his term and install Harris (giving her eligibility for two more full terms), but it's obvious that overestimated Harris and underestimated exactly how insufferable, unintelligent and bitchy she would be perceived. Their only options now are to ride it out with Biden or install Newsom. Gavin has already had his geopolitical meetings with Xi, so it's gonna be him.

He’ll drop out later, but I think strategically they may have to make a decision before August. Lack of momentum may hurt them just as much as lack of time to mudsling from republicans will help.
If Trump wins Georgia this will come down to Wisconsin, Michigan and Pennsylvania. Not an election expert, but I think with Georgia plus 2 of those, it’s over for the Dems. And he may only need one if he gets GA and AZ, both of which are leaning red at the moment, GA moreso.

this morning i was flipping between fox and friends and the morning melt. i got the impression the morning melt was going after Joe. SNL picked this past Saturday to start making fun of the Drooler In Chief.
i believe the hand writing is on the wall. if Biden screws up the SOTU, he will be replaced.
just watch CNN and MSNBC to see how they change their tone. they will report however the intelligence agency instructs them.
