I've got my kids watching the Dahmer show so they can pick up some useful ideas since noone should have to provide, cook and clean all by themselves, and you're worried about $15-20 for some concert tickets?

I'm no TicketBastard apologist, but I'd like to add that they don't have a monopoly and one of the reasons that their service fees are so high is because they kick back a portion of that fee to the venue. They have to bid against other ticket retailers for the contract to each venue they do business with.

I guess Ticketmaster will have to remove the checkbox that says to show the fees. They will just show the fees now in the original price.

Except they have an exclusive contract with live nation who controls a near monopoly on large and mid-sized venues in the United States.

Stubhub (to their credit) recently added a feature to show estimated fees on the ticket prices, so you don't work your way to the payment screen to find out the tickets are double, then have to back out of that to find shittier seats.

Processing fees could definitely be lower, and it's not just on ticketmaster.

Yeah, didn't the band Pearl Jam have a rift with Tickermaster over something like this years ago? I think this has been an issue for a long time
