The one thing that would dispel the rampant rumors about his mental decline would be to show up at a live PC and stand at the podium, make a statement, and answer questions coherently, even if the questions are staged as they have been.
He can’t or won’t do that. He has smart people around him who realize the same thing, and they can’t or won’t have him do it.
It’s not a difficult assignment for any elected official. Pelosi has done it drunk.

Wondering if I'm going to wake up one morning, soon, to every news and broadcast channel telling me that Joe passed away during the night, kinda' like Justice Scalia. It wasn't expected, but, it just "happened" and luckily, Obama didn't get to put Merrick Garland on the USSC to replace him.

There is finally a situation that even the MSM are calling for him to lead and be present and visible every day. It's one thing to trot out there once a week or so and read a speech. It's a whole other thing to actually be put under some pressure to think and act in real time and be visible daily. It's clear Biden is not able to actually do this job. Seriously we let someone who admitted to plagiarizing and was shamed for it, was basically told to go away by his superior in White House, has been made fun of due to horrendous decision making, family has deep ties into criminality and bribery, run for President and then get "elected" to President and is in control of the Armed Forces? Yet hires a staff around them that makes Romper Room and a Captain Kangaroo fan clubs seem mature and intelligent.

I'd love to see the blood pressure of his handlers today. There has to be some super-stressed mofos up in the White House, tasked with getting Biden ready for a national address. I imagine there are, AT LEAST, a couple of voicing screaming "HE'S NOT READY!"
