Director of Battleground Strategy Nick Trainer says their campaign told reporters Trump is within one state of winning.
It’s on his Twitter. What does that mean exactly? The projections are solid in specific states and just needs one more to be right?

I'm guessing he's referring to their internal polling which isn't as strong as the national polls are saying.

I'm not going to celebrate this too much. It makes sense for them to try to push this narrative to motivate their machine, and counteract any complacency. Being ahead by "one state" is kind of convenient.

No candidate should ever suggest they have it in the bag before voting occurs. People still have to be motivated to go out and vote.

Mean Trump needs one of Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, or Minnesota.

They are laying the groundwork to let their accomplices in the media down easy by drastically lowering expectations for tomorrow. They know they are toast barring massive fraud but none of them would ever admit it on the eve of the election (nor should they)

Had to go look for it... I read through some of the replies and someone posted it means he has all he needs nationwide and he just needs one of the big rust belt states.

The at otter guy everyone is quoting is Donald Trumps boated campaign employee, not Joe Biden's.
He is doing his job misquoting the call and having everyone think that is what the Democrats said.
