Snark aside, what it points to is his clear up and down mental status day to day. One day we get a droning, drooling idiot that can barely keep his head up while he reads his talking points from a teleprompter, the next you get a quip like this which is fairly good, though delivered like a coward.
This doesn't prove he's not senile...it proves he is.
Those of us older than 20 remember this arse clown for decades in the Senate. While he was never what anyone would call "brilliant," he at least was a normal human being. He's so clearly in the throws of dementia and yet the left refuses to acknowledge it.
