Sure if that's what it takes to wake people up

if this is the case then the republicans caved because this isn't cuts.

The bill the Republicans passed didn't have any cuts. It was a cap on increases, just as this report says the agreement is.

You knew they would come to an agreement. All political postering to begin with. Neither party wanted to be culprit on this issue.

They not fooling me....this is a made-for-TV staged debate....Uni-Party in action.

Lol probably the only thing that would cause is people voting in communism to ensure everything sucks for everyone.

Summary of deal as I understand it:
— Debt ceiling raised 2 years
— Domestic programs frozen next year, up 1% ‘25. Inflation-adjusted cut
— Boosts defense, VA $
— Some tightening of work requirements on TANF, SNAP
— Energy permitting (details tbd)
— Claw back some new IRS $
The uniparty hates us
This is so weak
You don’t comprise with demon possessed people

It’s all a charade. Biden and McCarthy are on the same team.
Truth.
And Trump is fine with it. McCarthy is his boy.

What did they cave on, paying the bill for what they already spent?

I'm guessing you don't have a 401k or any money tied up in anything if that's the case

They agreed to spend only as much as they could borrow.

That's such a miniscule drop in the bucket compared to what's spent on social security and Medicare. It's bizarre you are worried about the pennies that are spent compared to the real money

Polls were consistently showing that the public wants cuts. The Dem Caucus was complaining that McCarthy was front and center with the Media and was winning the messaging war.
Biden’s numbers are in the tank.
We’ll see. I’ve got a feeling a lot of people on either side won’t be happy, but with controlling only one House with a slim majority, if McCarthy gets concessions, I’d say it’s a win for the GOP.

Is there a cap on giving free shite to illegals while we have veterans that are homeless? Our government cares more about illegals than their own citizens.

Ah - let me help you here. You see, people that pay taxes have had enough of paying with no representation. So no matter how much more blood a leech wants…….a leech is still a leech, w/ no say in how much more blood is available to said leech. So - move to Venezuela if you don’t like it

I'm going to need numbers to get the full picture. I just don't know how a long term deal like this can remain enforceable
