They are going to do this and I don't get why they are announcing it now, the stampede to the border over the next 30 days will be awful.

Trump puts the policy in and some judge FAR FAR from the border makes the decision to rescind it for the entire border .....and it is stopped immediately.
The supreme court decides biden has no legal right to stop the policy he illegally stopped six months ago. Rather than abide by the court, they continue to drag their feet for two more months, and now announce they might, kinda, sorta try and keep some people on the other side.
As usual the law only applies to one side.
