Big FU to all those gays who worked so hard to call themselves 'married'.

Most here either don't understand those terms and just regurgitate the same old rethroic or they're just being disingenuous.

Didn't he promise in the campaign no one who makes under 400k? Has he reneged on that now?

Progs think they’re doing good. Marxists know they are doing bad but the final well-intentioned results will justify the means. They’re idiots too because they obviously haven’t read a history book on what happens to the marxist foot soldiers in the end.

Nobody is a Marxist outside some fringe idiots. Just because people exist to the left of the American overton window that makes them Marxists despite that making no sense

Democrat party is full of Marxists. BLM is ran by Marxists. Universities are ran by Marxists (most professors are open Marxists). Critical race theory, which Biden touts, is a Marxist philosophy. It is based on the Frankfurt School's Critical Theory which was founded by Marxists and communists back after WWII. This isn't even up for debate.

The biggest obstacle to progressivism/Marxism is strong conservative families.....the Marxists need chaos and government dependency to fully implement their totalitarian utopia.

Progressivism/Marxism seem to be a package within the Dim ideology.

These people want to destroy the family unit.

Probably because it will produce broken individuals who they can “reprogram.”

BLM, ANTIFA, college professors here and there, and their billionaire, satanist overlords who pay and direct them - might be a small group but very effective.

If that’s how it works, then mankind is not making the Earth warmer, we’re just helping the Earth return to levels that preceded the last Ice Age.

I don't begrudge anybody being upset about this "clarification" of the campaign promise. That said, the whole "they are attacking marriage as an institution via tax law" line really crumbles when you look at the published statistics for MJF returns.

So, wait a second.

The 2 richest people in the world, live in the US and are both unmarried.

You don’t have to do that. There is no law that says you cannot file single if you are married.

The federal government does not know if you are married or divorced. Through sovereign immunity and the supremacy clause.. it ultimately doesn’t care.

Try showing a divorce decree to the IRS when you owe joint taxes on a return. The local judge may say one person is responsible... but the IRS says you both are anyway.

So just file single. You lose the benefit... but you avoid the punishment of success.

It’s the biggest level of idiocy I’ve seen this week. So if you make 150K and your wife makes 250K then theory (not really) wouldn’t see a tax increase if you weren’t married, but now that you are married, then you have to pay more.

The nuclear family is the "glue" that holds this country together. Without strong familial bonds, one's support system is compromised or doesn't exist at all. Interesting to note that the very wealth and now married couples are targeted for tax hikes. So much for this administration's claims of being non biased.

Hate the tax hike but those pushing the "this will discourage marriage" angle aren't thinking and parroting nonsense.
