Bessent-Iran's economy will have nothing in 2 weeks

Rial vs US Dollar started the year at 840,000 to one US Dollar. This morning it is trading at 2,444,000 to US Dollar.
These teapot refiners in china are having to go through some real shady 3rd party players to try and pay Iran. Many of them are teaming up with IRGC members and stealing the money because they know the govt is collapsing and they want getaway money.
I say again these people are not religious fanatics, if they were they would not have billions, in their own names, stashed offshore. Our politicians use the msm to control the masses, they use religion.

You are using a Christian definition of religion and the accumulation of wealth relative to the teachings of Jesus regarding rich man / poor man, eye of a needle and such.
These people are not Christians. Being wealthy, and being a fanatical jihadist are not at odds with one another.

While I’d be cheering in the group of the loudest Americans voices whoever thought that bringing out the “two weeks” in the speech would be not ridiculed should be sent to the back of the class

I hope he’s right and it results in a deal (one that does more than just put us where we were before the conflict).

Is there anything specific which has changed in your day-to-day life in the past 7 months? I mean, besides a diatribe about the cost of fuel, did you cancel vacation plans, are your bills not being met, son or daughter not go to college?

We have taken out their nuclear program, their navy, and most of their missiles, along with much of their manufacturing for missiles and drones. Caused 300 billion in damage to infrastructure.
Their entire budget is about 100 billion, it will take them decades to get back to where they were before the conflict, though I doubt they ever will.
Thats why I laugh when the msm says china helped them rebuild in a few weeks. China aint gonna do it for free. Second the blockade would stop them. Third, even if they did it would take a decade.

Because of sanctions it can take months for a tanker to reach china and months more to ensure payment before they deliver.

You missed his point. If they were religious fanatics they would be putting their efforts into advancing their religion, not accumulating wealth siphoned off from the country that is leading the religious jihad.

Where do you think Iran, and in particular their nuclear capabilities, are now versus where we were before the conflict?
