Elvis Presley.
1st thought that came to mind.

I recently learned that he NEVER performed outside the USA. Sold more records AFTER his death, than he did while alive.

Cyrus the Great, King of Babylon and Persian Emperor was pretty important. Without him there wouldn’t have been any modern Jews, Christians, or Muslims and unlike Abraham, Moses, and Jesus - Cyrus was a real person who existed.

The real answer is probably some kind of counter-intuitive inventor or obscure politician.

But since I'm a modernist biased to the modern, I have to say The Beatles.

Having perused the responses, it seems that the Board pretty much agrees that Jesus, Mohammed, Abraham and Buddha are the top 'influencers'. And all have one thing in common: they imagined and introduced a common IDEA. Such being that Humanity exists as 'children' and a derivative of an absolutely singular (Monotheistic) and Self-Aware, Spiritual Energy that we call 'God' (or whatever descriptor a particular Religion employs). God being the infinite Spirit which has no limitations of Time, Space, Matter or 'Intellect'/Awareness, as it is an intangible Spiritual Entity.

And that there are Universal Laws which govern both this God ("In the beginning was The Word...") and as well, the essential character and life scenario that becomes the manifestation of our 'self' into a particular version of Reality. The 'Influencers' defined and elucidated said Laws as having come from 'God'. Jesus explicitly described this God - His Father - as having and essentially being, the spiritual, self-aware 'Feeling' of Love. "God IS Love". Albeit Love can be manifest in various forms of belief, action and 'Judgement' via Universal Law, as the adage "Karma is a bitch", applies.

At the fore is the idea that we now live/exist in a single Reality, but that upon death we move into another. Albeit current Christian Belief assumes that our current personal scenario was NOT the consequence of a previous action/belief on our part, but the will of God. Go figure on that. And that the ideal Reality would be 'Heaven', and a total and complete LOVING union with our Creator God. And that upon that 'union', a 'judgment' (via the Laws) then determines the character of our next life's scenario. This personal Judgement is based upon our beliefs and actions in the current life.

The above Idea forms the basis for all of Humanities' action, as our recorded historical record of belief and action confirms. And to this day such Belief/Faith manifest as a Spiritual form of Love-based 'Morality', even to a degree which celebrates self-sacrificial action in service to one's NEXT LIFE, and/or final judgment into an eternal and final version. (For me, the very idea of a personal reality being both "final" and "eternal" seems incongruous. I think 'final' just applies to our current and changing 'Self', and whether we choose Universal Love, or Self Love, as that would be in our basic character preference.)

Judgement in and of itself implies that 'such' a personal, yet relatively unlimited heavenly reality will not be equal, as all individuals will be rendered their just due in regard to their belief and action. All religion agrees on this point.

In our current civilizational scenario, especially our beloved and despised USA Constitutional Republic based on God-given Rights, it is our innate Spiritual Faith that determines our action or inaction (bloody action to maintain our God-based, INDIVIDUAL RIGHTS Nation vs the Collectivist/Marxist 'moral' impetus to destroy it) as opposed to "turning our cheek" and qualifying for a more peaceful, loving and secure NEXT LIFE. Many Christians are frozen in place re rebellious violent action, as the enemies of a God-based Constitutional Republic present themselves as having loving beliefs and actions that serve love, equality, tolerance and unity. The open Border is a perfect example of self-sacrificing love, the sort that the Left would assert as that which Jesus both preached as a positive, next life qualifier and even a Secular Morality virtue and civic responsibility of any truly loving citizen. Therein the coming clash of an 'immovable object vs an unstoppable force', and the prophetic "war in Heaven (basic philosophical idea superiority) and on Earth".

IMO, the 'Truth', manifest in the Ideas of a loving and merciful Jesus Christ, will indeed arrive a second time, "in the (nuclear) clouds", for "the sake of the elect". Assuming He exist, it's His loving duty, he has to. For those who reject Mercy and prefer their just recompense/karma in their next life, or even the simplicity and painlessness of non-existence (no-God Belief), to each their own. Good luck.

I know. "Word salad" as SFP, SM, et al will assert. I'll own it, for the sake of sincerity and good intent in service to Love/Unity.

Sobieski does not get near the credit he deserves for what he did at Vienna to defeat the Turks. Sobieski does not make that charge, the Turks get to overrun Europe.
