Obama earned 20 million in 12 years. It would take the McDonald's cashier 1136 years to earn that much.

Under a socialist government, Bernie Sanders would be one of the powerful few who get to decide what is “fair” for the American people. Scary thought.

We should ask Bernie what the definition of a public servant is and why they make multiples more than the average American.

I have no objection to a company paying a C suite member or anyone else in management whatever they want to pay them. That is a matter for the board. I do have a serious issue with a publicly traded corporation reimbursing anyone with stock options taxed at a capital gains rate.

This creates a lot of distortions in capitalism as profits are diverted from research and development, marketing, and dividends into share buybacks, decision making becomes a short term quarter by quarter affair, and an inner circle is exempted from paying income tax on the majority of their earnings.

Ban this practice and not only will capitalism be healthier but leftists won’t have as much to whine about.
