Should be required viewing for all students (and adults). Schooling his peers on the constitution.

I'll post the vid if I can find it.

Sasse's statement was even better at Merrick Garland's confirmation hearing that didn't happen

I bet the "school house rock" reference flew over many heads. But it was awesome. As a kid I liked those.

Edit: The sad Bill one was a favorite

Your beef is with Biden. It’s his rule that delayed the Garland hearings. Liberals hate when their own parlor tricks are used on them. Sorry, not sorry.

Cruz's statement explaining the WH documents during the W. Bush administration that the Dems are claiming are Judge Kavanaugh's own documents eviscerates Toddy's thread and makes Toddy look like the idiot we have come to loath and laugh at.

Those requested documents are authored by other people, such as W's Attorney General and other cabinet members and are always considered covered by executive privilege and therefore NOT released to other branches of government.

Kavanaugh, as WH staff secretary, was just the person assigned to gather, pass on to the President and then properly archive after the POTUS has seen the documents. Kavanaugh didn't write them.

And Cruz explained that Kavanaugh has turned over more documents to the Judiciary Committee for his nomination hearing than the last FIVE Supreme Court nominees combined submitted to the committee......more than 500,000 documents.

The Dems are just trying to overwhelm the nomination with minutia to delay the process.

Good link, Mr. Larson. Thank you.

Agree 100%... I kept applauding while he was speaking! THAT's a man who understands Check & Balances and how a healthy democratic republic is intended to function.

Hahahaha

The democrats told Bush they would not confirm anybody in his last year.

The republicans responded 8 years later

No no.
You are confusing Kennedy, Biden and Reid's Merrick Garland previously determinative statements with Sasse's nonexistent one.

My students have watched both Sasse's and Cruz's statements. Sadly, unlikely to be watched in any 'social studies' public school class anywhere.
