Beating a dead horse, but why the hell in 2022 does it take this long to count votes?

And please spare me the conspiracy theories. I'm sure there are shenanigans happening but I don't think they are to the scale a lot of you would like to think they are. I chalk this up to woeful inefficiency and gross incompetence. How the hell was it that in past elections, with technology far inferior to what we have now, the counting was done and the winner announced ON THE NIGHT?! It seems the more and more advanced we get, the more difficult it gets to count ballots. Why the hell is that?

It’s the same counties in the same states. It’s not a conspiracy. It’s blatant and obvious. Media covers for them.

Can put a man in the moon in the 60’s, but can’t count votes in 2 days 2022.

Isn't almost all voting done on machines now?

Re-evaluate your position. Machines are not slow.

The only voting precincts in the country that routinely go down on election night are the ones in blue precincts

It's not the counting them that is holding them up, it's the calculating how many they need to fabricate to win and get them done that's taking the time

You shall not be spared.

Elections are closer now than they've ever been in the past. All this started back in 2000 with Bush and Gore.

Mail and ballot box voting takes longer to count and some states continue to accept postmarked ballots after Election Day.

Shenanigans are the only reason this is happening

Florida, the third most populated state in the country, can finish counting and report their results for a presidential election the same day.

A lot of localities insist on paper ballots and individual counting and verification. That has been a theme of Republican demands for years. The problem is that it takes a long freaking time to count and verify paper ballots.

The short answer is that you created this mess.

It's not a conspiracy to say there is fraud in our elections. there is, its been proven time and time again.

I can't imagine the stress. Clearly you can't claim fraud until you know if you won or lost...

To prevent fraud.

Every mail in ballot has to be checked individually for the correct signature and ID. It’s been like this for years. Everyone know this.

Republicans had a huge advantage with mail in votes until a certain person thought it best to appoint an incompetent head of the USPS, encourage same day voting, hope and file suit that late (Dem) ballots will be rejected and claim fraud when all else fails…. Like he has done in every contested situation he has ever been in.

Contrast that with Florida and Desantis who pushed his voters to vote mail in. And won bigly.

this is false, states have varying laws on this and some change them at the last minute.

You frickers are really coming out the woodwork to spread lies.
