Good luck getting a straight answer. Nothing says "helping the little guy" like enriching yourself and your kids.
Prison very well might be in his future. Good luck with that Don.

Do you understand the difference between nuclear facilities and enriched uranium ? Facilitates destroyed is not the same thing of enriched uranium, which has been known to have been moved off site, that can be used for nuclear weapons.

Trump's corruption is greater than Biden, Hillary's, and Pelosi's all put together. it's not even close. No President has grifted hard off his office than Trump.
Downvote away but its true.

Hunter Biden opining about corruption is about as rich as it gets. Stick to finger painting and blow.

How is doing business with Sunni's and not doing business with religious Shia terrorist zealots hypocritical?
He lost me at "enrichment".

Just because many of al-Qaida was Saudi, does not mean SA was responsible. The organization was created by and financed by US tax dollars via a certain three letter agency to fight against the Soviets. They turned on us when we broke promises. But we did in fact train, organize and fund them.

Why does this agreement need to happen?
The U.S. strategic policy in the Middle East has long been centered on maintaining influence over the global oil market. While America no longer relies heavily on Middle Eastern oil, controlling the flow of energy to the rest of the world remains a significant geopolitical advantage.
Viewed through that lens, the Trump administration appears to be positioning itself to gain greater leverage over China's energy security. China is the world's largest oil importer, and roughly half of its imported crude comes from OPEC producers. The administration has already tightened sanctions on Venezuela, complicating China's access to Venezuelan oil. It is also increasing pressure on Iran while maintaining a dominant security presence around critical shipping lanes such as the Strait of Hormuz.
The next step is strengthening the partnership with Saudi Arabia—the de facto leader of OPEC. Saudi Arabia, meanwhile, wants to diversify its economy beyond oil through Vision 2030. Last year, Trump and MBS announced a massive economic investment package, and now discussions have expanded to include civilian nuclear cooperation. From a strategic perspective, these agreements could deepen U.S. influence with the country that holds the greatest sway within OPEC while helping Saudi Arabia reduce its long-term dependence on oil revenues.
The UAE's recent decision to leave OPEC is also interesting. Officially, it cited a desire for greater freedom over its production and economic strategy. One interpretation is that Abu Dhabi sees a future in which maintaining flexibility to expand trade with China is more valuable than remaining bound by OPEC's production policies.
If this broader strategy is successful, China will likely become even more dependent on Russia as a reliable energy supplier. Ironically, Moscow could emerge as one of the biggest beneficiaries by gaining greater leverage over Beijing. At the same time, increased geopolitical competition over oil would likely accelerate investment in nuclear power, renewables, electric vehicles, and other alternative energy sources as countries seek to reduce their dependence on vulnerable foreign oil supplies.
Whether this is the administration's intended grand strategy is impossible to know from the outside. But if it is, it represents a long-term geopolitical play aimed not simply at controlling oil prices, but at increasing U.S. leverage in its strategic competition with China.

I love how the average American talks about our empire building and the way we flex our hegemonic muscles and then think to themselves "well we are always the good guys and what we do keeps us and the rest of the world safe".
Not even close to being true.

Sure, skip over being on the board of a Ukrainian energy company and his father in camera threatening to with old funding for investigating his son.

Be honest. You’re trying to paint this as both sides do it so nobody should get in trouble? Or probably more accurately you think that it’s OK for the Biden‘s to do it even though they don’t have 40 years of international business experience like the Trumps. Why are we gonna allow Nancy Pelosi and Joe Biden to do pretty much anything they want yet vilify Trump ? Besides OMB.

It’s at least mostly true. I can’t confirm all of it, but the two billion dollar investment happened. And the golf deal happened. The Saudis are very clearly bribing the trumps and getting their moneys’ worth.

I don't think OP is claiming Hunter is clean
Just look at your emotional vitriol towards him. The question is why you only debase yourself in this way for the out group.
Non-hypocritical people can criticize both while maintaining full intellectual honesty AND rationality.

You missed the point. Bigly
The question is why you won't criticize Trump (and his family )for engaging in the same terrible behavior of Hunter Biden, Nancy Pelosi, etc.
He was not excusing the behavior of Hunter Biden

Because he knows.
He knew during the first campaign.
"I could shoot someone in the face on 5th Avenue and my poll numbers would go up."
He knows he's the head of a cult.
In fact, I think he gets off on it. I think the graft is one thing, but the real enjoyment—because let's face it, a billionaire in his 80s doesn't need the money—is being able to wave it in everyone's face and still get away with it and still have a cult full of people who have claimed that their entire political identity is defined by opposing "elites who use public office to profit off the backs of taxpayers" defend it.

I didn’t. Trumps have been participating in international business for decades. They aren’t new with this. It isn’t odd and they clearly aren’t using it the same way as pure political families like the Biden’s and Pelosi. And probably every other politician in DC, both sides of the aisle. But this game of insinuating wrongdoing is bullshite. And I’m not playing it. It’s only bad when Trump does it.
