Be honest. Which nation looks worse on the world stage, the US or Russia?

Most people will say Russia because of their invasion of Ukraine but hold on now…..the US/European Union are in many ways responsible for the Ukraine/Russia situation because they wouldn’t listen to Russia’s concerns, the US/European Union ignored Russia.
Think about this, the US is supposed to be the responsible superpower nation to make prudent geopolitical decisions in our efforts to maintain world peace. Unfortunately a rigged election has the US under siege by a illegitimate regime with a marginally functional geriatric at the helm. This illegitimate regime signaled to the enemies of the US their gross incompetence and weakness shortly after taking control of the nation. From their disastrous handling of Covid19, the Afghanistan Withdrawal Debacle, out of control illegal immigration, destruction of US energy independence and let’s not forget Whispering Joe’s attempt to bring down the Russian economy by trying to weaponize the USD to crush the Russian ruble……guess which country now has a stronger currency?
RUSSIA!
The ruble is as strong or stronger than when the illegitimate Biden Regime tried to take down the Russian economy.
The correct answer is obvious, in real terms, it’s the US that looks much worse than Russia. Thanks Whispering Joe.

I mean Russia currently occupies part of Ukraine and has been since 2014. It’s only natural Ukraine would want to seek military partnerships and alliances with nations to secure its independence. Joe has just exacerbated this situation by showing off his incompetence. Russia is at best Austria-Hungary before WW1 and the US is like the UK under Neville Chamberlin.

I’m the world? The only people backing the Russian condemnation are western countries, so most of the people of the world aren’t on that side. Depends on how far the globalist reach is with media, which is far. Everyone in the world sees the push for globalism and most hate it

Of course, you’re correct. Russia is not too far off from what we should expect of a collapsed superpower but the US had every opportunity to solidify the country as the alpha superpower after the fall of the Soviet Union but instead the Corporatocracy pissed our position of global powerhouse away.

Out of 195 countries, only 30 have honored the US sanctions on Russia. That means about 165 countries in the world have refused to join the sanctions. Those countries represent by far the majority of the world’s population. Most of Africa, Latin America (including Mexico and Brazil), East Asia (excepting Japan, South Korea, both occupied by US troops and hence not sovereign, Singapore and the renegade Chinese Province of Taiwan) have refused. (India and China alone represent 35% of humanity.)

I suppose that depends on what criteria you’re judging by- and how you can twist it. I can say, with all certainty, that the US looks like the dumbest country in the world right now.

My sons fiancé is from France and, in fact, is living there right now. Her situation brings her to several countries. Most find us at as least as bad as Russia, some find us worse. We aren’t perceived as the good guys we think we are.

All I know is the Russian military is being EXPOSED. They have lost about significant numbers of their siege army to the point where are are having to abandon or pull back in areas. Their equipment is outdated and their troops are not adequately trained. Now with much equipment destroyed or decimated they will need many months if not years to stockpile. This is a issue going forward and Could lead to a diplomatic solution as Russia is caught with its pants down.

Absolutely. When both countries are examined in totality the US is falling far short of it’s potential.
