WAFB

Remember folks to not comply. I never really understood how the government can “buy back” something they’ve never owned. Really, we are left with only 3 options:

1: don’t comply. Don’t show up
2: build your own single shot shot gun with some steel pipe and a 2x4, a bunch of them, and get some gas cards!
3: set up shop across the street and offer more money to buy a gun than what was offered by the government.

frick the ATF and repeal the NFA. That is all.

Sounds like a good opportunity for BR's finest citizens to commit gun theft and get some free gas cards

It’s pretty common practice.

WTF is this?

I'm sure gangbangers, drug kingpins, the violent, and other "upstanding citizens" will be more than happy to hand over their guns.

Citizens can turn in a gun in exchange for a gas card, with no questions asked from 9:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Oasis Christian Church located at 4524 E. Brookstown Dr., Baton Rouge, LA.

One person is eligible to receive up to $300.
Sounds like you could get a sweet deal on some firearms. Stand outside and see if any of the twos of people that come have anything good and then offer them cash. Granted, not sure what transfer laws are like in LA, so consult the rule book first.

Private sales are A-OK in Louisiana. The PO-PO might ask a bunch of questions but tell em it none of their fricking business.

People should show up and laugh at everyone going in.

Only if they allowed outsiders to open up a competitive table , then law bidding citizens could get some readily available guns at good value

And we're supposed to believe not one serial number will be checked as being part of a crime on these "buyback guns".

Those might be more expensive than actual guns, given the price of lumber.

I would go hang out with a sign offering more money for select firearms. Maybe able to get a good gun or two.
