Here's NY Mag's write up on the book that's about to be released. Truly amazing stuff in there from this guy who was allowed to just walk around with the Trump camp unfettered ha.

She treated her father with a degree of detachment, even irony, going so far as to make fun of his comb-over to others. She often described the mechanics behind it to friends: an absolutely clean pate—a contained island after scalp-reduction surgery—surrounded by a furry circle of hair around the sides and front, from which all ends are drawn up to meet in the center and then swept back and secured by a stiffening spray. The color, she would point out to comical effect, was from a product called Just for Men—the longer it was left on, the darker it got. Impatience resulted in Trump’s orange-blond hair color.
quote:
Few people who knew Trump had illusions about him. That was his appeal: He was what he was. Twinkle in his eye, larceny in his soul. Everybody in his rich-guy social circle knew about his wide-ranging ignorance. Early in the campaign, Sam Nunberg was sent to explain the Constitution to the candidate. “I got as far as the Fourth Amendment,” Nunberg recalled, “before his finger is pulling down on his lip and his eyes are rolling back in his head.”
quote:
Ailes had a suggestion: John Boehner, who had stepped down as Speaker of the House only a year earlier. “Who’s that?” asked Trump.

Yeah, it really was bizarro world there for a few weeks. The WH Comms Director accusing a senior adviser of sucking his own dick. You can’t make that shite up.
I so hope he comes back

Bannon is also then saying the DNC committed treason, then. They admitted to having meetings with Ukranian officials with the purpose of attempting to spread negative propaganda about Trump and to influence the election.
Seems to me he's prepping for an A-Ha moment.

They are going to turn this book into a movie

It would make an amazing comedy
Edit: Almost like Weekend at Bernie's but instead of a dead body, it's an idiot millionaire and everyone's working to try and keep the illusion up haha

Statement from Trump:
Boom!

Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind,” President Trump says in emailed statement, Bloomberg News reports.
Statement from the President of the United States
Steve Bannon has nothing to do with me or my Presidency. When he was fired, he not only lost his job, he lost his mind. Steve was a staffer who worked for me after I had already won the nomination by defeating seventeen candidates, often described as the most talented field ever assembled in the Republican party.
Now that he is on his own, Steve is learning that winning isn't as easy as I make it look. Steve had very little to do with our historic victory, which was delivered by the forgotten men and women of this country. Yet Steve had everything to do with the loss of a Senate seat in Alabama held for more than thirty years by Republicans.
Steve doesn't represent my base-he's only in it for himself.
Steve pretends to be at war with the media, which he calls the opposition party, yet he spent his time at the White House leaking false information to the media to make himself seem far more important than he was. It is the only thing he does well. Steve was rarely in a one-on-one meeting with me and only pretends to have had influence to fool a few people with no access and no clue, whom he helped write phony books.
We have many great Republican members of Congress and candidates who are very supportive of the Make America Great Again agenda. Like me, they love the United States of America and are helping to finally take our country back and build it up, rather than simply seeking to burn it all down.
Boom!

@EsotericCD
From my reading of that Wolff book excerpt:
1) Bannon is one of chief sources (note that Breitbart is not disputing any of his quotes) and likely the source of several of the more...unlikely stories, like the Boehner one.
2) I have a hard time knowing how much else to believe.

They're at each other's throats now. Wonder if Bannon is a big enough a-hole to try to help Mueller now.

Well even if it is mostly fiction, it's still hilarious

Just wondering. I have a friend in Russia and I talked to him over a non-secure phone without lawyers present. Does this put me under treat of going to jail for treason?
I was friends with him for years and often talked politics with him. But we never ever spoke in Russian... only English. Does that help my case?
In my defense, I have informed him that I can no longer talk with him over the phone and we can no longer be friends or I might go to jail.
Do you think my cutting ties with him will get me a more lenient sentence, assuming it goes that far?
I apologize for my past indiscretions, I truly did not know I was acting in a treasonous manner.
Forgive me if you can.
No Russian were hurt in the making of this post.
So tired of hearing about proven bullshite muh russian crap.

It's kind of telling the MSM regulars are not jumping all over this story given the fact it has MAJOR click bait appeal involving Steve Bannon apparently backstabbing the president.
Posted on 1/3/18 at 12:42 pm to GumboPot
Do you think they are finally starting to be wary of bright and shiny hooks?

Also, let's not look over the MAJOR self-own of how he admits that Breitbart isn't a legitimate publication, LOL
His tired, slobbernly style of dress belie a mind that remains sharp, astute and above all else apparently not fooled by his own design for the emporers clothes.
We did know that this is how he operated though. He gave the Uranium One story to the NYT.

Behind the scenes, some advisers hoped the loss[of Roy Moore] would persuade Mr. Trump to stop listening to Stephen K. Bannon, his former chief strategist who has vowed war against the Republican establishment. But Mr. Trump talked with Mr. Bannon for 15 minutes by phone on Tuesday, aides said, and seemed disinclined to cut the adviser from his circle.
Sure thing Trump(and his daily grinding apologists).
