All police officers in democratic neighborhoods should resign now. Let it all burn. Without police, it’s bound to happen sooner or later. Victimization of criminals is the last thing that should be done but tops on democrats lists. Like Kennedy said a little while back, need help, call a crackhead.

Seems to be the big city norm. Dallas PD was estimated to be down in the 1k range not to long back.
Of course high murder rates in the same have nothing to do with it.
And yes Dallas is a black run city. That cares more about virtue signaling with renaming streets and taking down statues. Black mayor, and city mgr. Had a black female police chief until a few months back. Now a Socal Latino is the police chief.

That tweet is not entirely accurate. They have less than 700 officers, not down 700. But never the less, still really bad.

My son is visiting close to there and his local buddy said if you drive in town they’ll stray shite on your windshield and if you don’t pay em to clean it then they take pipe to your car cuz police won’t prosecute that!
