Women on trampolines. How many hot dogs can Olivia Munn stuff in her mouth? Kimmell the epitome of a liberal protecting women's rights.

Oh and Chappelle had to leave the land of liberal control because they wanted him to dial his show back and make it more bland.

EVERYTHING is fricking political now. The economist is a left wing globalist publication so of course they were going to write some elitist shite piece on BB

It’s a shame but is what it is

For a minute, Rodney Carrington was the funniest guy around.

Also, the blue collar tour was pretty good. Ron White ended up being the most popular out of the group, go figure.

The real truth is that the right can laugh at itself when leftists make fun of them. The left cannot when a right leaning comic points out their faults.

Speaking of Aaron Rogers. Damn son I’d sop her up with a biscuit. Before Aaron Rogers, after Aaron Rogers, I don’t even care.

Hell, leftist comedy isn't even funny, so you can't even call it comedy. Even Steve Harvey quit doing shows because you aren't allowed to be funny anymore.

Satire is probably a little too high brow for you.

Anything above slap stick is too intellectual for your limited ability to understand.

Monty Python may have been "liberal" back in their day, but the surviving cast is very based or at least extremely anti-woke. And I'm sure you could say the same of other old school actual comedians (not to be confused with Trevor Noah or Stephen Colbert). Even Jon Stewart and Bill Maher jumped ship (hanging to a life raft) a while back.

I'm confused because I didn't think anyone actually read the Bee. The headlines are the joke. You don't have to read the article to be entertained. I always thought it was just a funny Twitter account.

I didn’t make it past this stupid paragraph. Has anyone ever read Babylon Bee and thought it was some sort of Christian Conservative counter culture?

It does present a Christian world-view (to the extent that satire presents any view), but it started out as mainly Christians laughing at things other Christians do. It only recently, say within the last 3-4 years? became as political as it is now.

As for the left being funny with no outrage, I got nothin.

The only reason the left has dominated comedy is because the right isn’t allowed to participate
In the '60s, the power structure of this country was to a very large extent center-right or full right. There were conservative newspapers such as The Chi Trib and NY Daily News. Local TV general managers and news heads were very often conservatives.

The major exceptions were Hollywood, Academia, and Network TV News. But even in the first two, the left did not totally dominate. There were conservative stars, even writers and studio heads, as you can see in this ad for Reagan's 1966 campaign for governor.

Conservatives were a major part of the power structure. Naturally they would be lampooned.

Today, The Left not only dominates virtually every aspect of American culture, but are doing their best to eliminate non-left voices. This was made possible by their takeover of the schools from the '70s on, and their seizure of corporate HR depts since the Clinton administration. This latter is the most important political development of the last 30 yrs.

The only exceptions are talk radio and the internet. Everywhere else, it's No Conservatives Need Apply.

My point is this. Today, the Left is the power structure. It's natural for it to be the subject of humor. Leftists don't want to accept that, partly b/c protestations of being "powerless" is how they get and hold on to power.

You clearly have not read the Babylon Bee if you don’t realize that they ARE Christian Conservative counter culture. I subscribe, and that is EXACTLY what they are.

There is nothing funny about these shows

Just saying your political opponent is a white supremacist LOLOLOLOLOL isnt funny

Just because liberals enjoy stuff that rails on their opponents doesnt make it funny

SNL is a comedy desert

They're Christians and conservative; I don't know that I'd consider them counter culture. They just have a sense of humor.

I would be interested in what pushed them over the edge with the political angle. If all anybody sees is their political headlines I see why they'd miss the religious background.

Yes, I believe they have.

And to an extent, it is. You know this is true because their articles are posted on this right-leaning forum on the reg.

I've seen so many post their articles on FB with outrage, thinking they are real.

The left ran off Jerry Seinfeld and Dave Chappelle, they're definitely experts on comedy
