I’m wary about McConnell but this could go either way.

I trust McCarthy as far as I can throw him. Totally unreliable from what I have seen.

Yeah those lower taxes, peace in the middle east, troops coming home, no new wars, three conservative justices, new trade deals, no TTP, end to the iran deal and paris accords, no more individual mandate, all time high stock market, and regulation slashes really sucked.

Completely separate your party from a candidate that just got 74 million votes.

Sounds like something Republicans would do, doesn't it?

The party does need separation from Trump. But that would be suicide. That's going to disaffect A LOT of voters for 2022, 2024 and far beyond.

I know he despises Trump but I don’t think he’s this stupid. If the GOP convicts Trump 2022 is going to be a blood bath for them in a midterm where they should do quite well

PSSTTT... Do you think the 3 trillion dollar covid bill with half of that not going towards american people, american interests, or anything other than politician pork add ins to pay off people and then receive that money back to their pocket is to help us or stop covid?

If you fricking look at that one single bill and half the shite in it is to grease politician pockets you quickly understand every politician is out for themselves, not us.

With that in mind POTUS did far more for the American people that any president I can remember

2 points

1. I am not sure there is legal authority to try Trump after Biden is inaugurated. Apparently this has come up for congressmen/women / binary (to be safe) and it has not been allowed.

2. Republican party...as for me, is dead man walking. They just dont know it yet.

LULZ! There won't even be a trial in the Senate. They don't reconvene until the inauguration.

There will be a trial. It will be after 1/20. Could be days, weeks, or could be months.

He knows. Look at them. What happens when you corner rats?

The Senate doesn’t return to Session until the 19th. There’s no logistical way he can be impeached and then convicted by the Senate in this amount of time. And Congress can’t impeach convict a private citizen, which according to them will happen on the 20th.
