At least you can admit you were wrong, not many will do that.

This is exactly the reason I always wait for all the evidence to surface before passing judgment.

So dumb.
He fights and takes the taser and runs.
He then turns around with the taser to shoot it back and catches some lead.
They want to say a taser isn’t deadly force but I don’t see how it’s unjustifiable. We just going to let criminals fight the police and run off with tasers now?

This was 100% a justified shoot and I was 100% wrong yesterday. I came to an emotional and uniformed conclusion before all the facts were out. The officer should 100% be reinstated and then sue the frick out of the city for a wrongful termination.

This is not the first time you have jumped to [wrong] conclusions. But I do respect you finally admitting it.

I just watched almost all of that.

I was wrong yesterday, the cops did everything by the book.

There was no hostility by the police at all until Brooks resisted, stole the taser and fired it at the officer.

I only could upvote this once but good Lord this took balls.

When I make a mistake I man up. A couple other posters who make mistakes man up when they make them.

But you take the cake for manning up here. My hat comes off for you.

In a world where people say stupid shite all the time and instead of owning it they did in more or change the topic, I find it refreshing when someone comes back and owns it.

Huge amounts of respect for you here.

I'm not sure what side of the political spectrum you fall on, but what this shows me is you can have a rational discussion and when new facts come out, you can change your opinion.

A smart man does this. A man who takes pride in his work and his word.

I think everyone should go back and upvote this post because we sure and heck down voted his other posts.

Thank you Sir for this Link, I wish they all were this good.

The mayor hoping to deflect populous anger reflexively and shamelessly threw the officer to the mob. The Atlanta Mayors actions displays her low character in a very graphic and very public form.

This whole fecal show makes a great case for body cams! Having complete audio and video account of encounters like this really seal the deal when the Police Officers are being professional and doing their jobs. Short captured video clips by their very nature can seriously distort through visual magnification of one aspect of an encounter.

WTF does this even mean? The bigger you are the more you have to consume to get to that level. You are truly stupid.

no but it’s not murder either unlike what some lunatics want

Everyone with an IQ over 40 is aware that DUI is a crime. I would argue that its second degree murder if you know you're drunk and drive anyway. And if you're too drunk to know you're drunk, definitely 1st degree. Good bye, forever.

Hey man, I try to admit when I’ve been wrong, that’s the only way to try and improve as a person. Lesson learned (should have learned it after Micheal Brown) from now on I’m going to work on waiting for the facts before making judgements, it’s something I’m emotional about and I need to control that better.

It’s what any rational person should do, thanks for the post though man, I appreciate it. I’m not as stupid as people made me out to be yesterday lol, I just get emotional about incidents like this but this proves why you don’t let your emotions control your decision making and how you come to conclusions.

What? She's a hero with cop hating left.

This is a terrible troll because there is no way a real human being believes drinking and driving should be legal.

Right. We just don't have a zero tolerance policy about it. Someone at .02 bac is obviously fine to drive
