When GA was called for him and he was trending strong in PA. I still wasn't convinced he'd get to hold on to WI and MI, so PA was key for me.

When they said that Miami Dade was going red I knew it was going to be a pretty good night.

I went to bed just after CNN called Georgia. At that point that Dems were underperforming everywhere. Even if Pennsylvania had a ton of ballots show up late, that she was significantly behind in Michigan suggested to me it was over, so I could get some sleep expecting to see “Trump wins!” In the morning.

When Gwinnett had their big dump come in and you knew he was going to win NC and GA and he looked really good in the rust belt.

The first indication was Trump winning Duval county in Florida. That was a big deal.

I believe around 10:30 central Kamalas campaign chair announced she would not be speaking and had left. The DNC knew then.

When GA came in to complete the Red Southern Wall for dramatic effect.

Shoutout to the other red states not in the SEC though

Truthfully, when Penn got called, I knew the nail was in the coffin waiting for one last hit from the MAGA hammer.

I am not a Trump supporter and have never voted for the guy, but when the results for Miami-Dade came in, that should have been a huge “Oh, shite” moment for the Dems.

At 8:30 pm it was real damn obvious it was over and my people were told. I noticed Brett Baier was real gun shy last night. Now you know whose side he is really on!!

When the first results came in from Miami-Dade I felt better. NC when Wilmington reported I started feeling a lot better.

Probably 9 or so you could tell he was running up the score where he needed to. Around 10 I was waiting for them to make some big calls. Went to bed at 11:30 scratching my head as to why it wasn't called.

I didn’t know, but the Virginia numbers and Georgia exit-poll data allowed me to tune out from about 11pm (Eastern) to 1:20am with a decent degree of well-grounded optimism.

Fell asleep listening to a true crime podcast during that time and woke up to see the good news texts.
