I watched a few YouTube clips yesterday and I didn't see anyone outright cheering for Assad's fall.

the first thing Shapiro said about the new leader is he's a terrorist with a $10m US bounty on his head. Several others expressed the same, rational sentiment.

More important questions should be asked - Why do we know more about the CEO shooter than the Trump shooter?
Why is everyone overlooking the fact that a Black man assisted Penny in holding down the assailant and a black woman praised him for saving her?

If you read all of verse 2 it says ““I will make you into a great nation”
Yes, God says this to Abraham but also says Abraham will be a great nation….as he is moving his family to Israel in the land God gave them.
Just because God says this in the old testament does not make it not true or a lie once the new testament begins.

Obviously you dont have to agree, but my own belief is America has been blessed because we have supported Israel. And Israel would not survive the attacks and wars on them over history if God’s hand did not favor them.

Not necessarily. I was responding to the notion that America was "blessed" because it supports an Israeli state. America was not doing this until after WW2, by which the blessed state of grown had already happened and the beginning of the decline was starting.

This stupid CIA see Syria as a mini Afgan where we funded the mujahideen to weaken the Russians. It is super short sighted to think that we will not be dealing with these guys as an enemy in the near future.

The USA existed for 172 years doing just fine before the State of Israel was created…and only has survived due to USA MIC support.
So when Rome destroyed the Temple in 70 A.D. and scattered the inhabitants of Palestine to the far reaches of the empire, did His hand not favor them anymore until 1948?
The State of Israel that exists today has nothing in common with holy Abraham and the promises made to him by GOD. As foretold, a Messiah came from the lineage of Abraham and those who follow Him - Christ - are the NEW Israel.
It would help if evangelicals in the USA would actually read the entire New Testament - written by sons of Abraham - and see what they say about the New Jerusalem and the new Israel.
