I used to believe that both parties loved America. I now know the democrats hate America.

I used to believe companies didn’t care about politics or morals they just cared about making money. Now I’ve learned corporations’ number one concern is pushing woke on people who don’t want it no matter how much money they lose.

There are two parties... Still some folks hanging on the fringe but it is pretty much a uni-party...

That GWB was a good president.

Former Republican here but nonetheless I had to come to terms that the following was true…
- that our intelligence agencies are largely the bad guys who are not interested in defending freedom or democracy;
- that most people will give away anything and everything for a vague promise of safety.

That was true at one point but the culture shift the past 15 years changed that

I used to believe the Republicans wanted a secure border without illegal immigration.
Now I know they want an open border to keep wages low for chamber of commerce friends.

I used to believe that voting 3rd Party would send a message that Politicians in DC must change. I now know that the only way to change DC is to vote for the best Republican option, even if you have to hold your nose. There are too many Democrat “votes” for that party to ever change.

I used to believe war was required and nothing could be done to prevent it. I believed nobody was behind closed doors orchestrating and creating wars.

Easy to explain, Dems used to love America.
However in an effort to become the big tent party they brought in radicals.
10s of Millions of immigrant kids who have no loyalty to this country and are more loyal to a nation their family ran from.
Due to policies of pre 1960s and drug epidemic of the 80s black voters became anti America and are also big in the dem party
College campuses who hate all things authority mainly white women
Millions of Muslims who countries we bombed and brought them here expecting them to have love for the nation.
The days of the working class voters who want strong labor and affordable homes dem party is gone. They also picked up the rich white elites because they aren’t affected by their policies. The live in gated communities, inflation doesn’t effect them, and do to the guilt of being wealthy can support the current thing to show they are for the people.

What I've learned since I began voting Republican decades ago is I'm not really a Republican, at least not in the current iteration of what many would say a Republican is. Frick the forever wars and the MIC. Frick the R politicians who have played the role of controlled opposition to the DC Dims/cultural Marxists and allowed the Dims/Groomers to continue their quest to fundamentally transform America.
A lot of Country Club/Chamber of Commerce Republicans believe in allowing millions of illegals into the country to suppress lower class wages and they generally believe in Globalism, I support neither of those things, not in the manner it's being done.

I once believed Republicans aligned with my beliefs. You should just remove the Rs and Ds behind names. Leave their states off as well.

Not to put too fine of a point on it but I'm a conservative, not a Republican.
Anyway, like alot of folks, I supported the war after 9/11. I believed it was the right thing to do and that it was done for the right reasons.
About 10 yrs later, after much consternation I came to the conclusion I was suckered and that the Democrats were right in their desire to treat that event as an international criminal act and not an act of war. But that was before the uni-party fully took hold when it came to matters of war.

Former Dem and I’ll explain.
A Republican voter will elect a Dem if the current republican is awful and failed in their position.
Dems will never vote republican we were taught since we can listen republicans are evil and hate you.
All the problems Dems cause there is a built in excuse
Crime- Republicans won’t ban guns
Trash- Republicans don’t believe in climate change
Failing inner city schools- Republicans cut education funds
Homelessness- Republicans closed the mental institutions and won’t support rehabilitation
Every problem Dems create it’s always republicans fault it’s drilled in us. So no matter how poorly Dems run things into the ground you still have to support because Republicans hate you and want you dead.
