Did you bother reading the owner's clarification today? No, you didn't because she never mentioned anything to do with time limit and even insinuated that had they caught them before they started eating they would have kicked them out.
quote:
By the time we entered the dining room, she was already seated and eating. At that point, we chose not to interrupt, expecting that the party would complete their meal and depart without issue," the statement said.

Just imagine if some red neck bbq place kicked Obama and Big Mike out of their place due to their politics. The press, both houses of Congress and all the pink hairs would be marching in the streets and the restaurant would be burned to the ground within 24 hours. Somehow it’s understandable when it’s a white conservative.

Oh, hello. This is you. Unfortunately, none of us expect you to ever recover from your gay illness

The restaurant that refused service to huckabee in lexington va closed down within a year of the incident.
I expect this may be the case again. As a restaurant owner, you just cannot alienate half of your client base.

Careful there NC - you are lapsing into common sense - You will NEVER get any traction within the democrat cult with that affliction.
--- unbelievable situation ---
I actually cannot believe this is the America I grew to love. We are like a once robust Green Bay Packer linebacker with a new inferiority complex === just does not compute.
anyway, as for me =

Not as bad as the restaurants do after they deal with her like this. Didn't work out so well for the one that did this to her a few years ago.

Exactly! but you know if that establishment doesn’t want the governor or any type in their restaurant then they should have the right to have them removed. They should also be prepared to feel the repercussions of their actions. Same as any owner of any business, they should have the right to employ whoever they want or serve whoever they want regardless of race, religion, or political affiliation, and beliefs.

Exactly. Whoever wrote their “response” is a complete moron.

The restaurant has a 90 minute limit occupying a table.
Odd...they didn't apply that rule equally to another table there at the time who stayed more than 90 minutes.
I wonder why?

I was at The Croissanterie the same morning Sarah Huckabee Sanders visited, and my experience left me confused about how policies are enforced.
I was part of a group of 10 moms seated at a table meant for 6 from 8:30 to 10:10 AM. During that entire time, we were never once approached about a "90-minute seating rule," nor were we asked to wrap up or leave. The staff was friendly, and there were no concerns raised about our group size or how long we stayed.

I agree with this 100%. I would go a step further by saying if we allow businesses to discriminate on race, sex, religion or politics they have to advertise it prominently like NYC restaurants have to do their Dept of Health grades.
