I always ask to see their green card if they don't look American. You can't be too careful these days.

I was letting 18 of them live in a single wide trailer with 2 bedrooms so I could figure out which one made the best tamales.

I love home made tamales with the freshest ingredients.

voluntarily stop your money from supporting them and the businesses that employ them.

People are here illegally from all over the world and of all ethnicities, so unless I personally run background checks on every employee of every business, then there is no way I can be sure I am not supporting businesses that employ illegals.

What I can do is vote Republican. There is no other action I can take that will go further to end illegal immigration than that.

How about law enforcement positions?

Connecticut council member sounds alarm after city opens law enforcement jobs to noncitizens

"I don't think it is in any way intended to make our city feel safer," Danbury City Council member Candace Fay, a Republican, told "Fox & Friends First" co-host Todd Piro.

"There's no public policy reason behind what the council did. There's no overarching need for police officers in our city. There's no demand that this will meet. It was done simply as a political narrative, overwhelmingly done by virtue signaling, and it's further dividing our city," she added

If we enforce our immigration laws we won't have a choice. Americans can mow grass. Roof, and pick crops. I'm pretty sure we're capable of that, I think we should give it a try.

I am not employing illegals, but I am paying a landscaper who does.

I used to own a company that employed hundreds of laborers. All of them checked out via the federal government's database, but probably at least 20% were illegal.

sure but why would I need to?

I have a white guy that was born and raised in LA that comes every 2 weeks and the neighbor kid that does it in between if I need to

as far as home improvement or roofing crews...I hire a white guy....who he subs I cant always control but I do request that they not be illegals. wtf am I going to do on that? until they are gone, you wont have americans in there because contractors do not want to pay the money if they do not have to

are you asking...am I willing to pay 20% more to be able to speak english and actually communicate with people....absolutely

as far as mexican restaurant ....how the frick am I supposed to know? they are supposed to be legal only, but there is no way for me to check

but if you are asking...am I willing to pay more for unlimited chips and salsa....yea

I am in no way for it.
The problem started in the 80's when everyone was being told they have to go to college. Today everyone goes whether they have the grades or not.
What happened was the union went away in the South anyway and the trade schools went away and nobody was attending any apprenticeship programs.
Now none of the people who went to college to get useless degrees or dropped out can do a trade and that left a void that is filled with illegals.

pretty much everything you said is wrong

for example

louisiana.....even now, when going to college is at its highest percentage ever only 54.6% even attended any form of college outside trade school. that is up from the 33% of 1985

only 17% have a bachelors and 10% have higher where in 1985 it was still 17% had a bachelors

trade school and apprenticeship enrollment has jumped from 2% in 1985 to now 20% in 2025

there are more trade schools now than ever in this state

sure the union left but who cares? unions suck for the most part and are mainly to prop up bad workers

and more people go into stem today % wise than they ever have.

but keep on with your trailer park talking points

and before you call me a liberal...understand Im in the running for top 5 far right wing posters on this board

It’s a fluid situation.
in the form of tax dollars being paid to illegal aliens I see every day at jobsite building solar sites . they making 35 to 55 per hour with 125 per diem every day but ice refuses to arrest them !
the new federal backed projects will be paying illegals 55 to 75 per hour in prevailing wages.

White people cut my lawn.

But I would hire some Mexicans no problem.

Jesus mows my lawn.

I’m not going to confront Jesus.
