No but I probably will in the future provided they don't dig deeper and don't do it again
It's a good organization that clearly has a small contingent of woke idiots trying to corrupt it. Provided they're marginalized at some point, I'll get back on board. But will wait and see.

They believe you should apologize for something immutable. You are white. You devil.

I wouldn’t piss in their kettle if it were on fire.

I don’t give money but I walk by the bell ringer and apologize for being white.

It kind of goes to show how generous conservatives are that their financials have been hurt this bad because rod the CRT stuff. I think the tide is turning where groups are going to be afraid of taking a side on this issue. That’s a good thing.

Of course I'm donating. I'm so thankful that the salvation army bravely stood out and asked white people to apologize for being white.
Before they asked us to apologize, I would never think of donating money to them. Because, why should I give money to an organization that doesn't ask me to apologize? I chose my skintone before I was born... I knew what I was getting into.

Salvation Army Withdraws Controversial Guide, Which Urged Donors to ‘Repent’ for Racism
The Salvation Army’s International Social Justice Commission has withdrawn a controversial guidance on race, which urged donors to offer a “sincere apology” and ask for forgiveness for white supremacy and white-dominated culture after its contents went viral. However, despite originally issuing the guidance, which urged donors to “lament, repent and apologize for biases or racist ideologies held and actions committed,” the charitable organization denies the word-for-word reports on the contents of the guide, describing them as “simply false.”
To late bitches!! I will keep my money!
Nothing worse than a bunch of backassward social justice money grabbing Hypocrites who backtrack when it hurts their bottom line.

Talked to a bell ringer the other evening & he said he's had this thrown back in face "too many times to count" & his collections are "way way down". Asked him for his opinion & he just shrugged.

Several decades ago. 70-80s the International Red Cross was caught buying arms for terrorists in Africa.
The TV network asked the President of IRC if that was true. He refused to answer the question.
The United Way was giving money to Jessie Jackson's "Rainbow Coalition".

I can believe that has happened to several of the bell ringers. I won't mouth off to any of them, they are just trying to do a job. By people not giving sends a powerful message to their woke leadership.

I’m donating to Salvation Army. I also worked the kettle ringing the bell. The left would love for the SA to die. Another victim of the left. Why do all of you want the left to win again. A couple of dunderheads on a board of directors is all it takes to kill a fine idea? Killing the SA this easy only emboldens them. The SA still does good work regardless of their stupid wokeness.

Samaritan's Purse is a good alternative.

None of the SA response has been genuine. You can tell it is gonna hurt these top dogs financially. If they were completely genuine about helping people that would have said "we apologize for the racism pamphlet and understand many are upset. If you wont give to SA we understand but please still support a local charity this Christmas"
THAT would have meant something
THAT would have meant something

St. Judes, far away the "cleanest" charity out there. With a certain amount donated, you can get a semi annual auditing of where your money goes if you ask for it. Walk those halls, talk to a few parents, & you won't have any doubts.
