No. I donate to church, childhood cancer, a kid in Africa, and try to help out on legitimate needs in my own community.

I led the United Way campaign at our pretty large institution back in the day. There was a scandal (mid to late 90s, I think) and felt kind of guilty pushing it as such a noble charity. There are a few that have a very low administrative cost but not many. Our Sec of State's Office maintains a listing of all registered charities and the percentage that actually gets to its targeted group(s).

Passed one going into Sam's a few days back with the gf and she reached in her purse, I told her we'd give on the way out and she obliged. As we shopped I showed her the nonsense quotes from those idiot higher-ups and she told her whole family afterwards. I commend the bell ringers but the SA can gtf.

Donating to charities is a joke. They might spend 10% on actual needy people and the rest goes into their pockets

Salvation Army
United Way
Red Cross

All fraudulent companies hiding behind charities doing good for those in need.

I am sure there are more out there but these are the big three I can think of.

I've been doing local charities with specific targeted missions for years. I've been done with the "big box" charities for a long time. Too much admin waste.

I'm black, but I won't and don't support any of these Marxist run organizations.

The Salvation Army can RIP, but that's probably exactly what the Marxist wanted.....to kill a good American Org.

Never have and probably never will.

I donate to the Houston Food Bank and give items to Goodwill.

No. I donated to buy toys for children who had lost their homes in the recent tornados.

I felt really bad walking by the SA guy outside of Hobby Lobby today ... but I'm donating elsewhere AND I'll never apologize for being who God made me to be.

White.
Female.
"Privileged" according to some ... I call it blessed as I was put where God put me ...

Give some child or elderly woman in a third-world country a Merry Christmas.

I almost feel bad for the folks standing out there, but they kind of dug their own grave this year by insinuating that a majority of their donors are racists.

I'll give a few bucks to the bell ringers because the woke crapola is way over their heads but the larger donations I generally make quarterly have been placed on hold until further notice and evaluation.

I listen to Prager a good bit during the week. I understand that he’s giving them a chance to correct their course, but I have to wonder how an organization like this got so lost in the first place. It would take some doing on their part to win me back. And not just a change of leadership, but a public statement and apology. It would be easy enough to claim that they were doing it for the right reasons, but I suspect we won’t get any such announcement. I’m talking about somebody would have to really fall on the sword and beg forgiveness, whereas I suspect at most we may get some sort of “misguided but well-meaning decisions were made”.

Sorry, that won’t cut it.
