So they made a dangerous trek across Mexican wilderness, potentially led by human smugglers who have general disregard for their well being, risking their own lives and their children's lives to cross the American border and you find it ridiculous to assert that the living conditions the children are in while in U.S. custody are potentially better than those which they risked their lives to flee? How about the conditions they were in while on their journey? Were those better than being held in air conditioned facilities and being given hot food and water throughout the day? A bed to sleep in?

I think you should take your own advice about "thinking before you speak" unless you are ok with making yourself look the fool.

We are caring for these people. Paying for them. Housing them and feeding them while we sort out who these adults are, why they are here, and whether or not the children with them are actually even theirs, yet people like you want to cast American authorities as some inhumane, cruel entities going out of their way to torture these poor migrants.
