Plus the riots have spread to Belgium. We’re supposed to believe a bunch of third world savages in Belgium are upset about France’s education budgeting.

Burning the schools you claim aren’t big enough and attacking the teachers you claim there aren’t enough of while waving Free Palestine signs is a clue.

Also, most of those “French students“ are from Africa and don’t give two flips about Palestine.

Let's not forget - this will be us in less than a decade of the Democrats/Socialists/Communists ever regain control of our government.

I think this board overall does not understand the French and how they think. For that matter, the French don't understand how they think. This stated out over dilapidated schools and lack of teachers as well as school safety both in the physical plant and environment. The French government apparently just instituted real cuts....not a cut in the rate of growth of spending but something akin to if they were spending $5 , now they are spending $4 and they just eliminated something like 1500 teachers.

They are having a hard time assimilating the sub Saharan Africans that show up in ever increasing numbers. It's not that Macron and his centrists want them, it's that the Socialists control the judiciary and the Assembly so anything Macron tries from a legal extent gets thwarted. LePen and te Rally are not much of a problem for him other than she likes to throw out a lot of rhetoric. The black Africans come in and they compete with the already established N. Africans who had been neglected in terms of policy for decades.

So much of this is a residual of the Algerian War and the level of immigration in its aftermath. Algeria was in fact France and these N. African Berber/ Arab types came legally to mainland France. Initially they came to escape the violence and they were a source of cheap labor, but a lot showed up coupled with the million or so pieds noir (colonists) who showed up overnight in 1962. The N. Africans had a lot of kids so that is why the Muslim population exploded after 1985. Then factor in the "Africans"

But the French have had a problem with radical socialists since the 1930s. People like the "policies" and they'll pay for them except.....there are less of them paying for it because in France after you hit 58 you can retire with a pension and lots of people do. The pensioners pay very little in taxes as opposed to someone working.
