I won’t buy version 1.0 of software for my PC.

Why would I buy version 1.0 of a vaccine to put in my body?

I'm 32, healthy and have a hard, chiseled body. So I don't really give a shite about the virus or the vaccine.

If I need it to travel, however, I will get it.

She was a health care worker.

Read too fast. I thought you were the 39 yo.

Although I would argue that a 39 yo of any occupation shouldn’t get it. Catch it, build up antibodies, now you’re immune. It’s like every one forgot 6th grade health class all of a sudden.

I'm not getting it. I see VERY VERY VERY VERY little upside in actually getting the "vaccine"

Same reason I get the flu shot - because while I probably wouldn't die there's a chance of getting sick and miserable and I have no interest in that

Right here.

I'm not getting a shot for something that has a 0.03% chance of killing me

Not getting one unless at Gun point or given a really good reason. I’ve gotten dozens of vaccines when traveling to 3rd world shitholes but this one just doesn’t make sense.

The wife, son and I have discussed this at length.... unanimous decision was NOPE.

You are a stupid frick. Just because you live in a shitty unhealthy place where china flu flies around like mosquitos, that doesn't mean that other people live in a shithole like you do.
China flu would probably do an improvement on you.

You'd have to be a hermit in Dallas to not know a single person. I still don't believe you either.

Flu shot has a proven track record over many years. COVID, notsomuch.

Also the flu vaccine and the RNA vaccine are completely different.

Side note: I never get the flu shot and I haven’t had the flu in 5+ years despite being in sales and meeting with 20-50 different people per week.

I will not be getting it. Already had COVID with minor symptoms last Feb, still have antibodies present when I donate blood.

If these were true vaccines that provided immunity from future COVIDs, I may consider it. As it stands, the shot basically helps keep you from having symptoms if you were to contract it; which were minor for me.

Honestly no, and I’m not sure of my reasoning

There’s so much info coming from so many different sources. I don’t trust the media and I really don’t trust the government. I have no clue what’s real and what’s fake as far as anything COVID related.. there are so many conflicting reports about its safety and its effectiveness - so just to be safe, I’m not taking it, and neither is anyone in my household

I have an appt to get it next Tuesday, but I'm having second thoughts, mainly because of this 39 year old women in Utah who died recently after getting the second shot.

Any reason I shouldn't get it?

It's the Moderna vaccine, btw.
Just get it. Driving is vastly more dangerous than whatever you are worried about.

received second Pfizer dose one month ago. I had a sore arm the night after the first one and no other side-effects. After the second shot I had zero side effects. Move around comfortably in my office as 90% of my colleagues received it also. The ones who did not are still wearing masks, I am not while in the office.
