This makes sense from Israel's perspective, does not make much sense from ours.
Iran is in a strong position against the US strategically because they have significantly affected global oil markets. The Gulf States are concerned about relaunching war efforts because Iran will impact their energy production (as well as other things), which would have a greater impact on global oil markets. Using the Gulf States desire to end the war as a wedge issue for the Abraham Accords strikes me as Trump trying to buoy the poor deal with Iran that is likely to happen with a great deal with the Gulf States (and others). If that happens, it would certainly be a win for Trump, but it seems like it would muddy the negotiations that we need more than necessary.

The Biden inflation adjusted price of oil is still less than it was during Joey Biden's years.

Nonetheless, Iran withstood tactical losses with a strategic victory in their claim to the Straight of Hormuz. Our response has matched their efforts: long-term economic pain. If you argue that the US is willing to weather that pain longer than Iran, that's valid, but I'll disagree. And that's really the lynchpin of the current state of the war.

Anyone who thinks the United States is in a weaker position now and that Iran has us by the short hairs is delusional. Plain and simple.
Trump will be trumpian. Republicans will remain feckless. Trump is on his own politically, except for the 78 million who voted for him.

Can you plainly and simply articulate why that's the case.

Trump is all bark and no bite.
Remember when he said that an entire civilization would be wiped out less than 24 hours from the first ceasefire deadline and then completely backed out and extended it?
He uses words to bully people into getting what he wants without actually doing anything. It’s a business tactic he’s always done that goes back decades to when he was a real estate mogul.
Can’t say any of the above though without the MAGA cult doing a downvote brigade.

Mainly because our oil supply isn’t dependent on the Middle East or oil flow through the straight of Hormuz. US companies, and our markets, are one of the beneficiaries of higher oil prices.

Certainly, but they're not selling any of their oil either. Somethings gotta give.

This assumes the only thing we care about is our supply of oil. It most certainly isn't.
Given oil is traded in dollars, disruption to the oil supply has inflationary pressure on our currency.
Along the same line, our economy feels the effects of disruption in the oil supply via asset price inflation (because oil is traded on the global market, a disruption in the Middle East directly impacts the price in America).
If your argument was strictly that American oil producers stand to gain from this conflict, it would be a strong argument.

I think my post highlighted that. Who can withstand economic pain the longest?

This is an incredible take, given all the bite that Trump has shown in the past year.
Bordering on outright cognitive dissonance.

So tell me, why is it beneficial to the US that we hinge a deal with Iran on Saudi Arabia agreeing to the Abraham Accords?
Keep in mind, I'm not saying it would be a bad thing for Saudi Arabia to agree to the Accords. I'm simply saying, we are having a difficult enough time ironing out a deal with Iran, so why should we make it more difficult for something that primarily benefits Israel.

He's not gonna do shite. The whole oil crisis is orchestrated to steer us into the next financial meltdown designed to replace the dollar as the world's reserve currency and launch a banking cabal-controlled digital currency.
