They died because Lyndon Johnson and the corrupt Political Establishment had JFK, who didn't want to ramp up a needless war in Southeast Asia, assassinated in order to appease the Military Industrial Complex (There were other reasons, too, why JFK was killed. He was trying to reign in the intelligenceagencies, also).

But yeah, the radical Leftists in the Dem Party are definitely pro-Communist. People need to stop calling them Socialists because what Mamdani , Sanders, and others want goes way past Socialism. If they get their way, we will have Marxism/Communism and America will be over (which is really the ultimate plan, anyway).

Yes, and they've moved away from communism. Small businesses do well without govt control. You can have a shop in a location that is not handicapped accessible. If you don't want crippled customers they can go someplace else.

Regardless of the true intent, those that died, at least most of them "thought" they were dying to stop the spread of communism. Even that is false, really. They died to save the lives of their fellow soldiers. That is the reality.

I think stopping communism is a noble and moral requirement for good people. EVERYONE knows where that road leads. Famine, starvation, violence, death, subjugation, totalitarianism. That happens 100/100 times. It MUST be stopped unless we want that here.

However, interprising globalists will use it to build their power base.

America really does need another revolution. We need to wrestle away the power from the fed completely. Bring back states rights, and let morality be the drivers of this country.

it's not a binary. yes, the purpose of the war was stop the spread of communism in southeast Asia. domino theory existed. were there ulterior motives and shadowy agendas behind the scenes as well? certainly. but we're talking about multiple decades of American involvement in Vietnam, so it's not as simple as "stop communism" even if that was the main purpose.

this super cynical approach to looking at American history where literally everything we have done as a nation was bad and had bad intentions is 1) not healthy and 2) just not true

read books about Vietnam. go read the Pentagon Papers. there is a TON of material out there outside of 5 minute youtube videos and agenda-driven documentaries by which you can educate yourself on the Vietnam War (that goes for any historical topic).
