While that is true for some priests you shouldn’t lump all priests in that category. Most priests do not engage in that behavior and anyone that does should be executed. That’s harsh but that’s what needs to happen to anyone that abuses kids. They don’t need to live anymore. Especially kids There are perverts in any organization or religions denominations

Whoever put up the giant IUD needs taken down to the mental ward.
I know women who got infections from IUDs so badly that they had trouble having children.
Do IUDs still exist or did they improve them?

How do you feel about the fact the church knew and instead of doing as you suggested they simply moved the priests around a bit and let them continue?

That is why they push Natural Family Planning
As a catholic probably one of the hardest things about the religion.
I encourage you to be better catechized.
Sexual activity, according to Catholic teaching doesn’t have to be for the intent of procreation. It just has to be open to it - I.e no artificial birth control.
You can use NFP methods that are just as effective as the pill - for example the Creighton method is highly effective with the added benefit of not poisoning your spouse with artificial hormones.
The true teachings of the church on sex is it is both procreative and unitive. Read John Paul IIs theology of the body or listen to sum of the classes on it readily available.

Abortion is also forbidden for Catholics… but look at the congressional Democrats that are enthusiastically supportive of abortion…. All with the pope’s blessing. Remember what happened to the priest that denied ole Joe communion over abortion? He got a rebuke right from the Vatican.
So I think birth control is ok by default now if the Vatican is looking the other way on abortion.

Don’t know, but my daughter had horrible migraines, numbness, blacking out. Finally figured out it was blood clots/stroke(s) caused by her IUD. Scary time there for a while. I would not recommend that bc method for anyone.
