Hell, not even the so called "Native Americans" were native to the land they were on when we arrived

Yeah, but there was nobody here when they took it from the bears and deer.

The United States broke every treaty they've ever made with native American tribes. This is a cause for shame.

A bunch of sore losers celebrating the day that their overlords came to town. Nothing to see here.

So they're protesting a holiday based on a feast that THEY invited starving Puritans to?

Indian givers...

I just point out the idiots shouldn’t have let them get off the boat.

And I’m Cherokee. I got over ancestors getting walked to death a long time ago

Weird, every native I know is enjoying thanksgiving with family today. It's a huge holiday in the local villages

There are SJWs from all breeds, doesn't mean they reflect the opinions of the rest of their demographic, they just make great click bait. This is a silly thread.

It's not clear what happened to the ancient mound builders. Maybe they were already gone when the Asiatic migrations brought what we now call Native Americans, maybe these new Native Americans treated them to some genocide. Damn shame the idea of a written language never occurred to them until they encountered Europeans.

Thanksgiving is not about the arrival. It was as I believe to be a thankful time of trying to have cooperative living in America and the learning from each other.

My ancestor was killed in an Indian uprising in New York. He had a farm in Flatbush. I can still celebrate with them or without them but I would rather they celebrate with us all as Americans.

These groups do nothing but drudge up old wounds they never suffered to drive division into our society today. It has become monikers for some to march to. It saddens me.
