So why is the flu virtually non existent?

its not, its down, and its down because COVID is immensely more contagious than the flu, it spreads easier and faster, so even the half assed steps were taking for COVID works with the flu.

why do people want everything to be some dark conspiracy when more often than not theres a very simple and obvious explanation

Unless you live in a tiny tiny town, virtually all of you are still wearing masks because its required everywhere.

Anyone saying otherwise is almost certainly lying.

Yes, because my workplace and most businesses that I frequent require them in part due to restrictive city ordinances that are being enforced.

I'm in TX and this seems to be the standard and not weird at all. Very few people walk around with a mask on where not required.

So masks dont work? Got it.

I'm assuming you're not in a bigger city? Masks are still required everywhere I go around here.

Forcing healthy individuals to cover their face is not disrespectful? For a virus that is >99.9% survivable? Yet politicians can break these clown world mandates. Some of you have completely forgotten how to think for yourself. This is what happens when you are too lazy to take care of yourself and just want the Government to make the hard decisions for you. I mean hey, they really do a great job of balancing the check book...

I'm actually trying to be considerate of the employees whom, if they get sick even from flu, will need to take two weeks off to quarantine.
Im also not wanting to have the country shut down again so if wearing a mask temporarily help keep people employed and the economy not shut down, I will do it.
I am entering their business so I will abide by their riles. Its common courtesy.

You still believe this BS? I bet you are one of the few folks that think Biden is doing a good job so far

Which means I shop at the local hardware store instead of Home Cheapo now, lol.

Should have been doing that for long time baw.

I try to go big box hardware store only for items my local guy doesn't carry.

All the stores have the sign to wear but we've learned which ones enforce. So I only frequent the grocery stores, hardware stores and gas stations that don't enforce.

I have to wear a mask to check in at the gym. But then going to the free weight room (me) and the aerobics class (wife) everyone takes off their mask and staff doesn't enter that area by design.

Doctors office? Yes.

If it’s a small mom and pop and they’re asking, I’ll respect their request, although most don’t require them. If it’s a big box retail, no. I usually throw some earbuds in in case anyone wants to say something to me.

In my part of Georgia, no one really says anything, and the government mandates from municipalities aren’t legal anyway.

Otherwise, I respect their private property rights. If they post a sign asking that I wear a mask, I still wear one.

What are these simple steps we can take to slow COVID down?

Mask mandates have been in place for months... and they tell us that COVID isn't slowing down. So that's clearly not it. What are some of these steps we can take to slow it down?

I did my part... I had COVID and now have good antibodies. Have you done your part?

Exactly

This dudes a clown as youd expect of a leftist. You and I have done much more than that clown. We already had it, have the antibodies and have done our part to reach herd immunity and get this show of real life back on the road. His compliance is the reason were still where we are. No spine.

I am respectful though of private business owners though that request I wear a mask then I'll put it on to play the stupid game.
