What are these simple steps we can take to slow COVID down?
Mask mandates have been in place for months... and they tell us that COVID isn't slowing down. So that's clearly not it. What are some of these steps we can take to slow it down?
I did my part... I had COVID and now have good antibodies. Have you done your part?

So you are willing to get your privates x-rayed and your wife and kids get patted down before you get on a plane because of an incident 15 years ago and you don’t scream about that. But you won’t wear a mask that can help all of us get out of this mess. Genius.

Dude. We've been wearing masks in this area since June (?). The numbers still climb. Hell, the numbers seem to go wherever they want despite masks. Quite a few restaurants are still closed, many other things are so sparsely populated that you'd have a hard time catching a dirty look much less the wuhan.
So....try another excuse.

I wear one when asked by the store. I wholly disagree with the concept on a large scale, but honestly if I look at it big picture, it’s not worth getting some baw fired for me not wearing a mask who’s just trying to get by and feed his family. So if the store asks, I’ll put it on to please them.

Been doing the same thing I have since the beginning, only putting one on if the place I’m wanting to do business with requires it, and even then I’ll pop my head in the door and ask if I need it. More times than not the past month or so the worker will just tell me to come on in. Have seen less people wearing them too.
I notice lately more people (even mask wearers) giving me a nice “Hey. How are you?” when I’m in a store not wearing a mask than when I go into places I want to do business that require wearing one. It’s nice, but also kind of strange.

Not really. Just in airports and on planes. I don’t care about posted signs or messages over the Ingles store intercom message where I live. They all have them but only about 50% wear masks. Store managers don’t say anything because they know it is stupid. My kids are required to wear them into the school but about half of the teachers allow them to take them off in the classrooms. Most of them also think it’s stupid but make a show for optics.

I do, but that's mainly because I don't wanna have some random employees approaching me requesting I put one on. I want folks to leave me alone.
If I'm able to walk into a store, get what I need real fast, and to walk out, then I am a happy man. Attempting to cause a scene or to be seen is not my style.

I think most people don't care if I wear a mask or don't wear a mask.
I also think most people don't care if I wear socks or not.
Me personally? I don't care what you do, as long as you leave me out of your signaling.

In all honestly, probably only about 1/10th of 1 percent of the people ignore the mandates.
Not nearly enough to "not get the result if you don't do the work."
