I did disagree with him but I think more than anything the Industrial Revolution allowed the weak to continue to live within society and eventually led to where we find ourselves now...
Ted was bat shite crazy on his methods though...

That’s being charitable.
If I inject saccharine and red dye #5 into white rats just to observe the damage it does to them, “unintended consequences” is pretty much out the window.

He bombed the lab that I basically lived in at Berkeley, but it was when I was away from UC between undergrad and grad school. It never made sense to me. We didn't do anything anywhere close to controversial at the lab. The prof that was the victim was a super nice guy.

Sounds like some of the so-called "elite" around the world who want population reduction, though they don't go as far as Thanos would.

What if there are other simulations going on at the same time as ours that have different creators? How do we know the creator of our simulation is the supreme one from its group?

I’d say him living in a shack in the middle of the woods was a pretty good sign that he was nuts
Are there reports of specific symptoms?

There's always some one or some thing at the very top ... of everything.

I'm not going give that up and move to a shack in Montana, mainly because I have a family to take care of. But, it's very tempting if I knew how to and didn't have responsibilities.
