It wasn't a random thought. Trump publicly suggested a wealth tax.

And? Did he cut taxes for the wealthy or not?

Was just talking to my wife about this over dinner. Alabamas governor race is fricking Doug Jones (enough said) vs the fricking idiot who can’t name the 3 branches of government and bootlicks for data centers and flock cameras.

Exactly. How? It’s all about setting reasonable, rational, realistic expectations at the outset, which is each of our own personal responsibility to accomplish. What you see among a bunch of these Trump hater types was and continues to be their signature move to intentionally set irrational expectations artificially, so as to stack the deck against him. Then they somehow force themselves to forget the fact that they initially manufactured their silly expectations, which they twisted into realistic ones and damn it they’ve had it up to here.

Trump is Trump. You have to like his personality but what he has done for our country is a once in a lifetime experience for me and I’m not young. He has thumbed his nose at politicians and attempted to do what no President wants to do. Remember when Joe Biden could not wrangle in the border crisis at put Kamala in charge. Blamed the whole damn thing and it’s unlikely success on Congress. Remember? Come on Trump got it done. This Iran crisis has been going on for so long that Iran has proxies in nearly every corner of the globe. Other Presidents have allowed this to go on as long as I can remember, both Rep and Dem Presidents. Trump is strangling this regime like an anaconda. Their ports are closed equals no money. Surely you can’t agree with boys dressing in girls dressing rooms and playing in their sports? If so you were either not raised like most of us. I understand they have strange people in this world who want to dress like the other sex or maybe be the other sex but this isn’t normal and is no longer promoted by this president like the last. So while you feel conned by a President who has done all of this maybe you can remember that Kamala Harris conned her way through her Political career in the most disgusting way. Maybe you now want to stand with these weird political people on the left who want to prevent a landlord from removing a tenant for non payment of rent. Maybe you believe this and that free stores are sustainable economically.

I really supported the man and now I feel a little silly and embarrassed

Real talk- I think what you’re trying to say is that you put the man on a pedestal, and now you realize that was a mistake. That’s ok. It happens to all of us. But conventional wisdom says… don’t throw the baby out with the bath water. The man is not perfect. He is not without his flaws, and he makes mistakes. He is a human being. If you put him in a pedestal, and really believed that he was just going to demolish the bad guys- you should feel silly. That’s not how real life works.

Do you think he’s a fraud? Or incompetent? A fool? A grifter? An accomplice? If not- then you should feel silly. If so, then you need to provide a solid case for that, and, if you really want respect- a solution.

Also, no offense intended, but, do you realize how much of a woman you sound like right now?

A lot of us voted for him 3 times and currently pissed off at him. I would still do it again because he beats the communist democrat party.

First of all, I don’t believe most people when they say they voted for him 3 times. Secondly, considering the first thing, of course you have bad reviews of him, you hate him. Don’t step to this with that weak sauce, playboy.

*Peace though, I mean no offense. Just jesting about.

That's insane to honestly think there isn't anyone out there that voted for him 3 times but aren't currently upset with how he has handled things. I want to win the midterms and getting into this war is not good for that.

My problem with it is that the tone and tenor of the complaints and criticisms of Trump in this instance is the same or very similar to those leveled against him ever since the 2016 election. That’s the risk of pedal to the metal criticism and trashing of Trump nonstop all these years, for the vast majority of those participating never once a single commendation of Trump for a single thing, more or less (again, for all these years)……it’s resulted in a justified disregard for pretty much any or all “criticisms and complaints” that pop up now.
