Anyone else feel conned by Trump?

Let’s take military spending, for example. A number of you are outraged over any increases in military spending. However, if Biden slashed it during his tenure, probably well below merely keeping up with Chinas of the world. I’d think it’s not exactly preferable to fall behind China, particularly in those categories that are ideal to throw up on the tv set for public consumption. I guess it’s possible this day in age for some folks among us just right here on this board to disagree, and actually argue that we shouldn’t have “traditional” military, and that China’s military doesn’t affect us at all (literally, I can easily see it).
Anyhoo, hypothetically presuming that Biden slashed the military, just to be a jackass, wouldn’t it possibly be incumbent on the next President, Pres Donald “T-bone” Trump in this particular case, wouldn’t he have to increase spending in that area to account for not only current upkeep, but also to replace those “parts and pieces” that were recklessly cut by the last President?
Or are you that person who would argue that “military size” is no longer relevant??

I’m so tired of this. He is not a dictator, he cannot wave a magic wand and do everything the Gen Z generation wants. we have over 90 years of rot and inset of communism and societal decay to uproot. One man and 8 years is a really hard thing to change. He has done some tremendous things considering he is working alone practically. Be grateful for that. Does he say and do dumb shite sometimes, sure. But he is not conning America. The alternatives to Trump were disastrous
150% this. frick all the panican and TdS crybabies.

No, not at all.
Remember a guy that couldn't finish the race and a drunk Indian woman is who ran as the Democrat.

And military spending included on the border.

Maybe we need a dictator
Posted on 7/18/26 at 6:32 pm to VooDude
I voted for him three times. In our defense he is probably better than what the alternative would have been each time, but DAMN what a shite dump this system is that this is the bullshite that keeps getting served up.

I’m interested in actual policy….not random thoughts while brainstorming.
It wasn't a random thought. Trump publicly suggested a wealth tax. And it's fair to point this out, just as it's fair for you to point out that he's done an about face on the idea. Just like it's fair to point out the about face itself, when the suggestion is he's a little squishy when it comes to principles.

Same concept here, maybe a republic style senate led appointment of the dictator because I don’t trust the public to make these kinds of decisions.

His bitching about election fraud is tiresome. Yes shite definitely fricking happened in 2020. But you were president when it happened. You weren’t president when you were elected twice.
You have the house, senate, and kinda the Supreme Court. Get some god damn shite done and quit bitching. But republicans are pussies and won’t ram shite through like democrats will.

He’s puzzled you because of the ongoing reality that he ain’t merely trying to check all the boxes on your list of demands, and he ain’t trying to check all boxes on mine, or his, hers, or even that guy back there, yes, you back there. Yet inexplicably we have plenty among us who clearly are under the impression that he’s a failed President if they aren’t fully satisfied insofar as each of their demands. Seriously. Literally. Yes, they haven’t been able to conceptualize how long the list of demands would be if each of them individually combined their lists, end to end, it would kind of be a whole lot for the President to address. It would be like 100+ million demands for him to satisfy. They still holding tight to their demands though, bless their hearts.

So which one of the common sense decisions by President Trump do you feel conned? Was it his decision to shut down the flow of illegal aliens into this country. A massive inflow of illegal aliens that was putting severe stress on public services in cities across the country. Raising the rents, and cost of housing for YOUR fellow Americans.
Did I mention there were some really bad people among those illegal aliens? At least two of those criminal illegals from Venezuela kidnapped a 12 year old girl in Houston, raped her repeatedly, then dumped her body in Buffalo Bayou. Another illegal Alien murdered a young female nursing student in Georgia. This child in Houston and this young woman in George have names - Jocelyn Nungaray (age 12) and Laken Riley.
Or was it his decision to assign our Vice President the job of investigating and stopping the widespread fraud and corruption associated with Somali schemes to run fake daycare centers, fake medicaid centers in Minneapolis, and Armenian mafia types running fake hospice care in Los Angeles. Schemes that both the mafia democrat governors of Minnesota and California did not raise a hand to investigate or eliminate.
How about his decision to kick the transvestites out of our military. Transvestites were using their time in the Armed Services to get free gender transition surgery and ridiculously expensive gender affirming care?
He made a lot of other critically important changes - too many to list here.
Okay, so tell me - for which one of these three critical changes do you feel conned by President Trump?

Nice try, DemoRat! If Trump's second term has you feeling silly and embarassed, what do you think it would be like if your girl, Karmala, would've won?
