Flip flop? He cut taxes for everyone. That’s pretty straight forward.

I believe you're a reasonably bright guy and understand TA's point, but your response has nothing to do with his post.

Trump just cares about admiration and power

Just like any other politician. The problem is that the Bushes, McKeating5, and Mittens cared far too much about admiration from people who didn’t vote for them and were never going to vote for them. Trump gives no fricks about the people who didn’t vote for him, and has quite explicitly told them to go frick themselves. For this reason alone, he will rightfully be remembered and revered alongside Ronaldus Magnus as “Donaldus Magnus” by us Limbaugh conservatives.

No, Donald Trump did not run for president in 2012. He seriously considered entering the Republican primary to challenge President Barack Obama, but formally announced in May 2011 but formally announced in May 2011

I've never seen someone buty their own OP as fast as you have. Are you high?

1) Your own biased AI query says Trump was a Republican in 2011, not a lifelong DIM
2) No one has ever claimed that Trump ran for president before 2016

But here are facts, not AI

Trump initially registered as a Republican in Manhattan, New York City, in 1987. In August 2001, Trump changed his party affiliation to Democratic. In September 2009, he changed his party affiliation back to the Republican Party, and has remained a Republican since then.

Exactly, he was thinking about running in 2012, so he changed his party status to get by the primary super delegates. 3 years is enough time to look like you didn’t just change parties to get by the dem primaries.

He knew Obama would be tough to beat so he waited another 4 years.

No sir. It's really better to do nothing as POTUS than to do the wrong thing, which characterizes nearly Trump's every move since he assumed office Jan 2025, culminating with the crazy, unwinnable Iran War which threatens to scuttle the world economy

There are certain voters who are too unstable and too unreliable to be able to count on. And they should be made aware, they were crossed off the lists of folks to spend time on, and relegated to “You’re of no further concern or interest. Good luck.” dustbin.

He's doing what I figured he'd do. He's too soft on too much but I already knew that.

I voted for some of this.

I’m interested in actual policy….not random thoughts while brainstorming. He cut my taxes. He cut your taxes. He cut TAs taxes. Period.

I said last month:

It depends what you want to focus on:
Border: A.
Immigration: B+/A-.
Tariffs: no idea how you even begin to evaluate this.
Foreign policy: D.
FBI/DOJ overhaul/smashing the deep state: D.
MAHA: not sure.
Fiscal restraint: C-, but not all his fault.

I never ever thought he'd drain the swamp or do anything significant to impact the "deep state." I'm not one who ever bought into the fantasies some of his dopey, gullible sycophants did. I knew he'd be a mixed bag.

And...
No Kamala A+
No Hillary A
