They use people like Olbermann to normalize narratives and once it’s become “mainstream,” it becomes the official position of the DNC.

I think he wants to become a martyr! I really do believe he thinks his actions would cause some loon out there to exterminate him, as he would like to exterminate all with the opposite view of his. His demise, in his mind, would become a catalyst to bring the destruction of the right. In real life he would just be another statistic of political unrest in America.
