The President is the head of the executive branch of government. If the President wants to add on to the White House, he can do that. The check has generally been that Congress has the power of the purse; however, President Trump decided to raise private funds to do the renovations.

After every elementary school in America has a bulletproof ballroom to protect them kids, I’ll support donald trump’s bulletproof ballroom that protects the billionaires and rich folk. Them kids need protection from gun violence.
