This sounds worse than slavery if true. The state needs to let an outside source investigate this.

There actually is a golf course.

I don't know if any inmates ever get to play, though.

I think the only wiggle room would be 101 degrees. Anything less, get to picking. 101, i’ll make the accommodation, but bet your azz im turning off the HVAC to the cells. Make you wish you were outside.

There isn’t any HVAC to the cells to turn off.

Heat index of 88F in Louisiana? Motherfricker, we have had Christmases that were that warm without taking humidity into account.

My husbands job requires that he and his employees are outdoors for much of the day no matter the weather. If they can deal with it, so can prisoners. And I don't mean that ugly at all.

Should they be given adequate hydration and proper breaks like my huband and workers take? Absolutely.

Other than that, it is what it is.

Is your husband compensated? Did he choose his job? Is he able to take a day off? Do people riding on horses point guns at him while he works?

Meh, they should have thought about that before they decided to engage in criminal behavior.

100%. They went to far and made me dismiss the entire claim with that nonsense.

They choose to work for Angola by being violent criminals.

Did the inmates not choose to commit a crime?

The allegations in the lawsuit are patently untrue. This social justice group ought to be sanctioned for a frivolous filing.

How do you know the allegations are untrue? That sounds like something the state wants you to believe.
