Most churches are now embracing wokeism. Specifically the Baptist, Methodist, and Episcopalian churches as well as Catholics to some extent.

And yah most of the outspoken Christians that I grew up with are left wing SJWs now. I was shocked at one in particular. Absolutely shocked when I saw his Facebook.
The guys who were normal and nonreligions as we grew up are the ones who are now more like this board

I'm not Catholic, but my wife and two sons are. That is one thing I love about the priest at our church in Memphis, he is not a fan of politics today, and he is not a fan of the current pope. He may just be telling my in-laws what they like to hear when he comes over for dinner, but I'm pretty sure he is genuine in that based on his messages on Sundays

Easy to believe the Methodists and Episcopalian but the Baptist? Would have never thought that in a million years.
Catholics would go totally woke if it were not for 2000 years of written and oral tradition. It's hard to go woke when the tradition is so engrained and antithetical to wokeness.

After United Methodists kicked out the radicals for wanting gay marriage endorsed by the church, they adopted crt.

A lot of the younger hipster Christians are using church activities as nothing more than an opportunity to socialize with other “woke” hipster SJW types. Most are pro choice, pro reparations, pro open borders and interestingly, many of these hipsters under age 45 are on Paxil or some other psychotropic prescriptions. It’s really a strange bunch.

Middle of the road christian growing up and now would be considered a radical. Shows you those people never really believed in anything besides following the crowd.

yeah. they're pretty ruined.
When Russell Moore entered the picture they went pretty hard left. i thought his entrance would be a good divestiture from Baptist being tied to the RNC (i say this as a baptist and a "republican") but he went left hard immediately.
most of the baptist seminaries in Texas don't teach the Bible is inerrant any more. i know Truett at Baylor does not and most of the teachers there go to a church in Waco that doesn't, as well as changing the Biblical teaching on homosexuality.

Our old church of Christ in the southern part of Baton Rouge , was allowing a mentally ill 15 year old boy that thought he was a girl, to use the girls' restroom. The moron elders announced it like it was something to celebrate. That was after pushing for women's rights in the church, of which none of the women were pushing for. Just a bunch of old white men trying to fit in with the world, instead of teaching the Bible.
All praise Wokeism!.

Conservative atheist here, stopped hanging out with my very religious college buddies after a decade and a half because they became woke AF.
Really disappointing too. I really figured Bible belt Christian conservatives would be a good bulwark for this bullshite. The older crowd seems to be holding the line, their kids however are buckling and fleeing.
