I came across this text a couple years ago and watched a YouTube video on it and read the first few pages. I’ve since forgotten the name. It’s on the tip of my tongue but I just can’t remember it and google searches aren’t helping. Supposedly it held the secrets of world history but was widely debunked by “academics” in the 1800s. Sorry I don’t have more info but figured someone here might know what I’m talking about. I believe it had a Latin name.

Are you talking about The Oera Linda book?
It was talked about as a history book, botany hand guide and had an old language with alphabet in it.

1800s nudes texted with powdered wigs is a pretty funny image

There were a lot of mysterious finds in the 1800’s but unfortunately there were a lot of hoaxes too. These things make for good reading though.

Are you implying that magic underwear isn't real?

I was thinking of the Golden Tablets discovered in South America that attracted the attention of Niel Armstrong. But you said attic and you already got the right answer. Consider this Lagniappe.

Someone wrote something down in the 1800s.. I have no idea what it was or what it says but I’m going to offer this nebulous description of it implying that it possibly had words or might have been entirely illegible. I don’t know. But then I’m going to apologize and hope that someone can glean from thin air what I’m talking about, or someone like Rusty_magnet is going to randomly pull something even remotely close out of his arse and save the day.
